That era of pop music was (and still is) better compared to today's 'pop music'. It actually required talent and real instruments; not like today's where it's all Auto-Tune, sampling melodies from decades ago, and makes you question the morale of the people who makes today's 'music', considering that pop music means "popular" music that everyone can enjoy.
