  • The translations aren't accurate because some words have to be changed to give it some sort of rhythm in Irish like. So chillax. It sounds deadly either way. I'm Irish and I much prefer this song as Gaeilge

  • @JordoF6 wat is wrong with you this was how it was written so either listen to it in irish or don't listen at all

  • I think u r missing the point. We r Americans that r proud of our Irish heritage. Living in the US, we have certain cultural attachments that are ours alone. However, our Irish roots are passed down very proudly from our Grandparents or Parents. We cling to them & they become part of our fabric. As we grow older, we yearn for that connection to our family's home. At that point, we research and learn more of our Ancestry. Finally, we "come home".

  • Im IRISH!!!

  • Meet pillowcase aka Sherriffnitwit.

I spend 5mins pasting 10 comments. The pillowcase however is on YT 24/7 and somehow is able to spend all his waking hours following people around on YT to make comments on their comments. I guess thats why he has the pillowcase, he doesn't have to leave the bed, he wears it.

I'm quite happy to take my sadness anyday over his stalking type behaviour....

  • bí thusa cúin! cad chuige a bhfuil tú ag screadáil do caic ar an téip seo faoi 'immigrants'? fuckail ar shúil

  • IRISH PEOPLE PAY THE COST

The state is spending more than 91.5million euro a year to accommodate 7000 asylum seekers, due to 7yr backlog. There are 14,131 'leave to remain' applicants whom the Justice Dept. describes as having 'unfounded' claims for asylum.

    source: Irish Examiner 23/7/09

Meanwhile our health, education systems are breaking down and Irish people are being told to emigrate.....goodbye Ireland, goodbye the celts.

  • The EU issued a detailed report on its 2004 Budget today and it shows that Ireland's net receipts from the EU Budget rose by €34 million to €1.594 billion. The Irish at €396 per capita in net receipts from the EU, were the highest in the EU15 while the Dutch headed the net payers at €125 per head.

    Source: Finfacts.

The european union made you guys one of the richest countries, and now you cry over some asylum seekers,or some health insurance problems? You selfish arrogant prick.

  • @moe17moe

WRONG - Irish waters have been opened to EU fishing fleet.

"Since we joined the EEC 35 years ago we have given away 200 billion euro in Irish fish to foreign trawlers. In the same time we got 50 billion euro in funding benefits. We have paid.

Source:On Dublin's streets with Irish anti-EU Treaty protesters - Telegraph blogs

  • @moe17moe

A country has every right to point out wasteful practices and wrongdoing, or would you wish your precious EU contributions being squandered. It isn't "some" asylum seekers...it is 1000's who are fraudsters. It is not health insurance, it is ALL hospital services and treatments that are breaking down and leading to deaths

...and why would you resort to name-calling?, have a biased agenda have we?Possibly an immigrant or child of immigrants or married to one, or dating one?

  • name calling? you say: immigrant, married to one, dating one? talk about name calling. just hate it when crybabies like yourself use something found by a "source"and "use "it to their own benefit.

Ireland is today richer then Holland. You should give all the facts or shut up.

and ehm...immigrants? there are more Irish in America then in Ireland, just a full circle or whatever the fuck it's called.

  • @moe17moe

u said "You selfish arrogant prick." I did not call you anything previous to that, and I still have not called you anything, I have questioned your motives for such anger and frustration....to call you a name I would have to say something like, u are thick or you are stupid or a moron or an idiot but since I have not, then nope, no name-calling from here as yet lol.

  • @moe17

Oh yeah, "crybabies" was another one, yet looks like the only person throwing a childish tantrum is yourself. Looks like you can use "sources" but when another person does it, that throws your argument out the window....it's crybaby time

    here's a tissue....and your teddybear LOL

  • thanks kid. But you know I'm right you are just another fool who blames the easy targets for his problems. the immigrants gonna pay your pension. But never mind, tell me, why are you on this vid, and not standing on some soapbox, in front of the Irish parlement, don't waste time. oh and I must not forget your" lol"( right back at ya)

  • LOL

  • Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you an example of a wasted life . . . waaeaa is the sadest basterd on youtube. He obsessively spams videos with racist comments. Can you imagine spending all your time doing this, only to be rewarded with failure? Sad sad man!

  • ta se go maith as gaeilge ach nios fear as bearla

  • hehhe...I don't understand nothing..hehe...but this version is very cooollll...I love iReLaNd

  • an mhaith ar fad,x

sorry for the spelling i'm horrible with written irish but i'm pretty good at spoken irish!
