@Erates22 I agree - he's a good all around player. He gives a lot to his team and acts like a dick on ice - and yet I am very fond of him and the way he plays. He makes me quite proud to be a Finn. He reads the game well and is a team player through and through.

I know that it is only the way he plays, not how he acts on his free time. Outside the field he really is a very sweet and intelligent person. I myself would be honoured to meet him some day ;)

he has quick legs, very good at the lower part of the net but dont try and tell me he has anything more than average blocker/glove skills at best. he has league max pads. lets do some math. a net is 72 inches wide(6ft). he wears 38 inch pads. 38x2 is 76. thats 4 inches of over lap he has to cover his five hole when he goes down.

I've looked at his stance which is very wide, post to post in fact. don't tell me the overlap of his huge pads don't help that five hole. if you look at his chest protector to its also ridiculously over sized. he is quick but you cant tell me overly large pads wont make it easier to stop pucks, after all its amazing with all the customization the companies do for goalie now so they have increased maneuverability with maximum coverage

lundqvist is alright but his equipment is what? league max? oh right i forgot. wait till the players association does individual equipment regulation. he wont suck but hes not gonna be as "good" as hes hyped up.
