R u sure thats is THE optimum modded graphics version on the right?? The differences are NOT so subtle man. Aside from the obvious mistake of presenting ENB instead of the MUCH better iCEnhancer or Photorealistic mods.. I'm pretty sure some monumental texture mods/overhauls have also been overlooked as well. When/If I ever manage to get a PC worth a full 60fps of iCEnhancer, well rest assured, there will definately be yet another "Compare" video up on YouTube!!!!

Great comparison too. Sucks that I have an amazing PC (4GB RAM, 2.5GHz quad-core Intel)  but the graphics card sucks (Radeon 5450), and I'll probably never get around to upgrading it. =[

Yeah.... ENB has great potential, for me it wasn't the performance hit that put me off, it was getting the right settings. I could never seem to get it to look more like real life... or crisp. It just seemed to make GTA IV look like some alien planet, and i could just never get the right settings.

You can't tell the difference in a Youtube video. The real power of ENBseries is supersampled antialiasing which renders the screen 2-3 times bigger than what you see before it shrinks it back down to your monitor's resolution so there are no "jaggies" and everything has more detail and is shaper. This requires an insane PC however.

Man don't listen at those says that your settings sux, they are the best I've seen on youtube, they are the more realistic. People likes brightness, bling bling, Shining and blur, but this one is just REAL. if u recorded and render it with original r* grafix files, and after that put mods again and use same clips and render it with the mods on..it could be more easy to see the diffrence..but its very nice grafix are better with enb!

The ENB mod also enables antialiasing. On highest graphic settings I usually have 50 fps. With the highest AA enabled I got max 5 fps but it looks damn smooth.

ENBSeries is better. You can see the buildings in the distance clearer and in the comparison @ 1:55 and 2:10 it looks like two different games :D

But as the others said, take some time and tune the config a little more! It'll definitely pay out ;)

No it's the car reflection too... The original footage also had car reflection etc. Something went wrong in the rendering process..

You've got to have the worst setup ever. The whole point of ENB series was to make it look sharp and clear, yours is the polar opposite of that.

My suggestion is to get a new config file and do a remake.

enb series looks good only for the landscape like clouds and buildings far away but for the other things i think gta 4 looks more realistic... the original gta 4 world and models look better with the original gta 4 graphics. and i dont think it was fair comparing the mustang mod because its a MOD and diffrent cars made by diffrent people all look diffrent in the same graphics. i liked the mustang better in enb but the original cars look better in the original environment

ENBSeries is darker, emphasizing details a bit more but sacrificing brightness and making some things a little harder to see.

If you can adjust the brightness, I'd probably go with the ENBSeries.

Mine is opposite to yours! The ORIGINAL is has more gamma and a little bit dark, and the ENBSERIES is bright and glowy, so it really does vary from GPU to GPU.

I also found out that ENBSERIES is only good for outdoors but not for indoors, it removes the bloom of the lights and brightens up the room, I prefer the ORIGINAL for the indoors.

I adjusted the enbseries.ini to a settings that suits to my GPU.

I'm using ENBSERIES for my next machinma, but for the outdoors only.
