Schon, zum Glück hab ich mir des Video grad angesehn, sonst hätt ich sie mir vllt. gekauft xD Dann lieber die von Palit oder doch die im Referenzdesign von ZOTAC oder XFX ...
i love the 4870 and 4890 standard cooler noise its like the jet plane's engine, nice.
actually what i di once without knowledge i've cut the fan controler cables the yellow and blue cables and left red and black cables for power, no one could fall asleeep at night at home, only i got used to it, cause too many downlads.,
edit* with a amd phenom 4x3 ghz black edition,4gb corsair cl 2.5 and a gigabyte ma790x ud4 board i reach 14k points on 3d mark vantage and clocked almost 16k points
the i7 stock cooler is still less loud than two 120mm intake fans on low rpms . or any graphics fan. I wouldnt be worried about that. also keeps the cpus temps at 40~75 celsius - idle~load, no real need for some BRAND cooling. If you want quiet peace, better find some good GPU passive heatsink with four 8mm heatpipes at least and mount a couple of noctua fans on it. Let the fans blow on memory heatsinks and you should be fine with such setup.
yes i guess. its only 0.4ghz on top so plus 20tdp outcome temp would be about 80degrees in load. depends on your chassis and airflow in it too, so... but i wouldnt overclock at all. no real need right now. also oc shortens your motherboards power regulators lifetime even in real small oc lvl. cpu also. the thing is try to overclock and reach the highest frequency possible at current voltage so the temp. wont rise up that much. you do at your own risk so do a little "beware of:..." research
ok...would it be possible to just make my ram faster by getting its latceys down?....i dont really see a point in overclocking also but i've read that your computer basically overclocks together as you raise the qpi? if i'm not mistaken
If you got DDR3 @ 1333MHz you dont need to OC the memory modules. And yes, the lower latency the faster response, although some values should be high. IDK about memory. If Id be you I raise the Multiplier and add a bit of voltage up on the memory modules. like 0.05V or so. Not over 1.6? I think not over that. Well. I dont know. Your turn. Do you really think your computer is running slow? :)
well yeah...but i am putting the current blame on my Motherboard which i've return and purchased another. Like the speed on my pc was bothering me and i started asking around how can a computer w/ 6gb of RAM be moving slowly? My Dell inspirion 530 w/ 2 gb of RAM opens things at about the same speed
Its not about capacity, 32bit os supports max. 3.80 gigs of ram somewhere you might hear about 3.5 but thats not true. The main thing you should focus is the speed in MHz as 1066, 1333 or 1600 now when you go with 1600 make sure you wont get more than 4gigs even if you use 64bit OS cuz intel 7 cant support 6gigs of 1600mhz memory modules and actually it might even slow your computer down which is odd to be honest downgrading the speed causing slowdowns at certain moments. Yes, try timings on em.
do you have any problem with this graphic? i want to buy this card but somebody says me that gainward has a problem with memory... is the better geforce or gainward?
BIF or something like that is best and XFX because of the warranty =) If you have any problems with the card you have life time warranty and even if you damage it by overclocking it they will repair it for you =)
i got a GTX 285 from gainward. Silent as the wind :) Also dual coolers, although instead of that heatsink ontop, it has 4 heatpipes out from the core, wich transfers the heat to the radiators under the fans. And also, that looks much better :D

i erased those fans from my gainward 275 gtx and put 2 x 92mm fans on the heatsink, now i get 2 ºC less and they're not loud at all.

i got this card too and unfortunately it is pretty loud indeed :(

Trust me those are not that cool. They look good but dust becomes a eye sore. You will spend a LOT of time cleaning it.

noise shouldn't really be an issue w/ this....i7 stock fan is alright i mean if ur not doing anything big and bad....but i wanna upgrade =)
Gamedestroyer12 2 years ago
you mean overclocking? no need to overclock i7. and if you really want go to 3ghz plenty of power for stock cooling

my zotac gtx 275 is runing 40% fan at full load max is 65% 91c. silet after 70% fan is loud
saxon0912978 2 years ago
Under load my GTX 275 (from MSI) sounds like a cricket in the night.
At idle I can't hear anything.
My old 9800gt was silent both under load, and at idle, so the noise of the GTX 275, under load, was initially disappointing.
A week after having bought the card I was used to it though. Now I'm thinking about buying a second one. So double the noise.
Yours sounds a bit like a hair dryer to me.
WabeWalker100 2 years ago
Is this sound at 13sec when the load begins and ends at 40sec?
Quiet silent in idle, maybe much more in a case...
