I love this band. One of my favorites. I saw them with At The Gates a few years ago. They really need to slow the fuck down and play at album speed though. It'd sound so much better. It's like they're rushing to finish their set.

Yea hte only thing you're forgettin is Kris' Potential. He's an amazing guitar player, and on a rare occasion he messed up on guitar, there aren't that many people who can play things 100% flawless live. Ive even heard John Petrucci screw up before, and he graduated from Berkley...

BUT, i think Lonestar will fill his shoes just fine. I heard he played the songs/solos to a T at the trash and burn tour, and he has played with the band previously.

The thing is that Kris Norris never really could nail his leads live. Just take a look at this video, he fails horribly at the sweeping lick in the bridge and that's one of the key parts of the song.

There is no doubt that he's talented musically, and he took their songwriting to a whole new level in the studio, but he totally held them back on stage

not saying  that hes not good, because kris norris is amazing, but the sweeping was deffinatly really sloppy here. im almost positive that he sped it up in the studio because he sweeps 16th note triplets at 180bmp which is pretty much impossible.
