All the videos I have seen by Christine Breeze have been uplifting and has helped me to refocus on the importance of not allowing my thoughts to just happen but to step back, monitor and choose the thoughts that I am going to spend time thinking about wisely. The goal towards enlightenment is an important one because it helps us not to have knee/jerk reactions to life but to take control of our perceptions and reactions.

how do i know im in the right path to enlightment? i understand oneness, my body is just an illusion as everything i can see or touch or smell or taste.. i have felt a shift in my consciousness but is not permanent.. as soon as i get together with my friends my mind starts talking and i lose this sense of oneness.. how can i feel oneness in every act of my life? i understand oneness.. but, how can i apply this state of consciousness to every moment of my life and make my mind shut up??

In my opinion/experience: No, do not forget about the self. First, discover WHAT this self really is. How it works with the mind, thoughts, emotions, physical sensations etc. Then "you" might just discover that this self, that you thought was YOU, is actually nothing but a mechanism without identity. It's a program. Thats how I see it anyway. I don't want to say I experience any higher "self", because there is no self there/here. It's just...emptiness, or conciousness. Can't really explain.
