Tried this is MY One-77 first and was thinking, "This is a hell of a lot harder than he makes it look". But remembered after about 10 minutes that my aston is tuned grippy as nuts :P
Yes, I use normal when using a controller, only because when set to simulation, the wheel will go "lock to lock" immediately when you move the joystick from one side to the other, causing the steering to be real twitchy. I personally think the simulation steering is not good when you use a small joystick to control the cars steering, thats just me though. When it is set to normal, there is some dampening to the steering, so you can make corrections without the car being twitchy.
@JLT1019 yeah. It's really difficult with front wheel drive cos the power doesn't go to the back wheels, and with four wheel drive the power is shared so you don't really drift at all
there are 2 ways to use the clutch to start a drift, the way you mention, and the shift lock. you would use the shift lock while shifting down, instead of using heel toe you just shift down with no throttle letting the tires lock...
To be honest i actually learnt all of these techniques in the game Tokyo drift on ps2 lol, it had everything manji, kansei, e-brake, clutch kick, power over all of it. Thanks a lot for the review.
how are you watching your replay? i dont have a HDD on my 360, or a capture card. is this in the "my profile-media-replays" ?? I dont have any replays their, but i have photos. When ever i try to go into the replays folder, i get a corrupt file error, it tells me to delete my replays folder in the 360 dashbored. How-ever, I cant find that replays folder anywhere! and I also wish you could just watch the replay right after the race like in forza1! :/ Help anyone please!!!
After I get done I save the replay and then you can view it again. If you dont have a hard drive thats probably why you cant see your replays. Hope this helps.
@GTMotionTV oj, yeah i i have one under the tree waiting for me. lol but i dont even see a option to save the replay, does that come with the hard drive? thanks.
Good tutorials man. I'm pretty good at drifting but I still like to pop in and see what people do in tutorials just to see if they're leading people in the wrong direction... This case is flawless so long as the viewers aren't satisfied with just the basics of the first video. The only addition I would ask for is more explanation on the intricate details of counter steer balance and throttle work, but those are hard to explain so I understand. BEAUTIFUL breaking drift as well ;)
hey GTMotion...can you demonstrate how to use the stock cars in drift rival mode..I would like to see how you get points from a lap using the stock supra at Tsukuba or using the stock trueno at Fujimi stage D...thx
yeah very also you can try with the abs off

Hey, so you've set your steering to normal rather than simulation. Can you get better drift scores with normal???

I have a question.. are you just using a XBOX360 controller or do you have a driving wheel set up to play the game with ?

This is great stuff. You ought to do some tuning tutorials for drift cars though. That would be helpful.
