  • One rocking song....3 people went....no high times for them....

  • johnny rivers don't deserve to be in rok and roll hall of fame he is a one hit wunder

  • THIS is what rock and roll is supposed to sound like: Bluesy, loud, and awe-inspiring.

  • joe cocker leon russell and johnny rivers, is the hall of fame stupid. what is wrong with them. rap artist are getting in and these guys are not in.

  • keep on truckin

  • shame

  • The Hall of sham is a fucking sham!!!

  • One-chord rock. Can't beat it.

  • soooo sick . had to see it to believe it.

  • Cocker rips n roars it on this one but he sounds drunk on the recording. Might not have been far from the truth considering his state at the time.

  • This is a kick ass tune!

  • I got to see Joe Cocker live, at Tropicana Hotel and Casino Atlantic City, NJ.

    He was excellent!!!

  • baby high time we went lol now whos got some weed lol

  • I remember watching them play this song on American Bandstand and a slim foxy white girl a regular dancing to it with a smile that's what this song reminds me of.early 70's

  • THANKFUL so much :)

  • Oh YEAH!!

  • madonna never sang a note of rock and roll. neither did billy joel. what i heard is that you can't get into the hall unless you make a huge donation to the hall. talent means nothing. there are some great bands that havn't made it. it's a shame.

  • Kick Ass piano from Chris Stainton. Orginally on the 1972 Album, "Joe Cocker" (45 released in 1971). "Woman to Woman" is on this Album also. Thanks ShoppingArcy.

  • @cinerama62

one chord and just a monster groove - that's all you need.

  • @jmortondrums You are SO correct...one cord...lol. In my band we use to joke that the some guy played so bad...he couldn't remember the cordS..to "High Time We Went"....lol

  • joe cocker, chicago, leon russell on the outside looking in and madonna;s in the hall of fame..... this is anarchy

  • my best song ever!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ain't it high time we went?

  • ragazzi ma fatevi un pò di cultura che proprio ne avete bisongno, questa è Sweet lorene di otis redding che poi ha copiato anche zucchero, ma roba da manicomio.

  • è zucchero

  • @brucaliffo86

    Già...

  • just listen

  • typical of 1971-72... not surprisin' when you know the year... but more surprisin' when you don't know speciffically the sound of 1972... and when people just now 3-5 songs of mr Cocker... oh jesus after 1:30 this man influenced probably Motorhead man Lemmy... there's similarities...xpt that cocker as more a burnin' soul voice......the end is great... if people want more of this kind of stuff! they should look at the family tree of Cocker's 70s bands members...be curious & do some research!

  • Thank you Joe!

  • Great voice, good song!

  • what a awsome voice,simply otta site

  • Part of the reason Madonna is in is beacause of record sales.

She has sold many millions more.

That is the reality of the music buisiness

I work in the buisiness in promoting bands so I know the deal

Same goes for who wins the awards.

    Grammy's ect.

  • @Johnnytwain1 That would make sense, but then Chicago comes to mind. They're not in there either. How many bands do you know of that have sold more records than Chicago??? "According to Billboard, Chicago was the leading U.S. singles charting group during the 1970s. They have sold over 38 million units in the U.S., with 22 gold, 18 platinum, and 8 multi-platinum albums.[2][3] Over the course of their career they have charted five No. 1 albums, and have had 21 top ten hits." - Wikepedia

  • Madonna is in the dumb ass Rock n' Roll Hall Of Fame, but Joe Cocker ISN'T??? Nor is Leon Russell, for that matter! What a disgrace!...BTW,...Will someone please post this in stereo???

  • @actormanic Hear hear!

  • @actormanic Hey, they reposted it in stereo since I made that comment! Cool!

  • @actormanic Fuck the Rocknroll Hall of fame!!! Fuck all the record companies. The rock music industry was and still is a multi billion dollar industry and who ever was topping the charts or who ever got the most publicity, that's who gets inducted into the rocknroll hall of fame. EXTREMELY PATHETIC. Leon Russell wrote countless songs for groups like the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Joe Cocker etc. It's up to people like you and me to not even worry about that shit and just keeping our ears open.

  • @actormanic: amen brother.

  • @actormanic . . The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is controlled by none-musicians and induction to the institution is decided by them ( Jann Wenner being the main asshole there ). There are many who deserve to be in and are not, purely because these mafiosos have a personal dislike for them . . . I'm sure Joe Cocker and Leon Russell couldn't give a flying fuck . .They too cool for that . . .Chris.
