You are not that far off my friend! At about the time you wrote this comment im responding to, the airforce tested an alternative fuel in an F-22 and it seemed to work well!
Lots of haters out there dont understand just how powerful the American airforce really is! Nevertheless, we know that the US military has a secret or "black" budget of several tens of billions of dollars every year. Therefore it is possible that the US Airforce (and Navy) are far mor advanced in the process of creating a 6th generation fighter than any of us know. Remember how the US Airforce hid the F-117 Nighthawk from the American people for almost 10 years?
