I think the "fair and balanced" concept is that a lot of the major news sources are leaned more towards the liberal side, so Fox's news/stories "balance it" by leaning towards the concervative side. But, you know, . . . that's okay. That's why CNN is just another channel input away.

I was thinking about this and how could it be that Fox news was declared the most fair and balanced channel from the viewers opinion and honestly is quite simple.
First only very biased people watch something like Fox News to begin with. But also, normal people can see some bias in every media network. So the viewers of other news channels would not give those channels a perfect unbiased rating when at the other hand the Fox viewers will give Fox a perfect one rating other channel negatibly.
