Dalglish is the greatest British footballer I have seen in 35 years of watching football, he was AT LEAST 5 times the player Cantona was. If we're being honest, it's hard to judge which European Cup winners' achievements are genuinely worthy and which aren't, when you take into account the format of the comp is (mostly) knockout, as opposed to league. Also, take into account the many differing elements, such as the quality of opposition, method of qualifying, fitness of individual players, final venue, etc. (You could also say the same thing about the World Cup.)
