  • wicked cool video dudet

  • Let"s see a front discharge mixer. They are REAL mixers

  • my friend...would you mind telling me the the front tire size?..

    thanks

  • @desde714 That is a good question.... I do not know, but I'll try to find out!

  • Check out...MIXERDRIVER,COM

  • please dont tell me you work for CEMEX.

  • ha ha start draggin that crap I have a front discharge!

  • ya its all right. But somtimes ya get sent to jobsites that are just big enoghf for a small car to fit let alone a 63,000 pound mixer.

  • I mean..... I remember when I was given a two ton truck to go out and collect whole corn and bring back to the feed mill, or when I learned to drive a 66 passenger school bus and when out on the road.... not really scary, but thrilling.... driving a large machine around.... it's a great feeling to master a large machine and be in control!.... you should be proud.

  • when the chutes are on and the driver is controlling the truck from inside the cab thats called tailgating.

Tailgatin the concrete from inside the cab.

  • Oh.... is that when the chute is in the front?... driver just pulls up to the site and does it all from the inside?

I've got some video of those guys, too.

  • hm no booster. They were tailgating that job.

  • What does that mean?

  • It's not so much about the tailgating or not, it's not a booster because there's no tag (i.e. boost) axles in the back. Or drop axles underneath. You can tailgate a booster. My company has boosters and trailer mixers. Trailer mixers are crazy big, but pretty much obsolete because they hold 12 yrds but a booster can hold 10.5 and isn't as bulky. I'm suprised the concrete wasn't super wet in this, they kept the slump to a 5.5. Every other vid I've seen it's been way out of spec.

  • So, were these guys doing it right? Thanks for your comment. Are there any videos of your company's trucks?

  • sliders

  • cool, i will be driving a cement truck soon, i have no experience at all, im a little nervous, but i heard that i will be fully trained. im praying to Gog everything wiill be ok

  • That's pretty exciting... I'm sure you'll be trained... but it is kind of scary...

  • nice truck

  • Thanks.... the cement guys know how to deliver concrete.
