  • what is this stop-motion shit??

  • so glad we have just signed him on loan, Plymouth Argyle.

You seem to rate him, is he consistent?

  • What ist the name of the song?

  • Creme of LaCreme here in Texas

  • sechzig

  • dass man solch einen gute spieler in die 2. deutsche liga bekommt !

  • Having watched yesterday's match live in the Allianz Arena, I am very pleased with his playing style.

Not only is he great in the box, but also quite good technically and a suprinsing quick runner with and without the ball.

He already fitted in with the team immedeately. Nevertheless his runs weren't always timed to perfection as he doesn't know his team mates well enough. But given some time with his new team, this bloke will be the strong forward needed in Munich.

  • German 2nd League started last weekend and Cooper made an incredible first impression, scoring in his first game in Munich. His offensive partner Benny Lauth seemed to be very pleased with his way of playing and the fans love him.

Basically just came off the plane and fitted into the team immediately, pretty impressive!

  • is it me or is the frame rate of this video horrible?

  • You have to click on the HQ (high quality) button on the video.

  • wow we actually wanted a big man, who can score with his head, but this guy also got some serious soccer skills....

  • Welcome in Munich, Giasing!

  • welcome in the blue!

  • Welcome in Munich !

  • Great feet for a big man. He should at least be on the 18 man roster for the US.

  • Why is he not starting for the US?

  • it's debatable whether he's better than altidore and davies, but regardless, our idiot coach should be giving him more of a chance than he has so far, esp. considering he's averaging a goal every 2 games or so.

  • Oh yeah, since that was written, I have him below Davies and Altidore. Also below a guy named Marcus Tracy. Check him out. But he should certainly be in our main 23.

  • well said....altidore pisses me off so much because he looses possession too often

  • hopefully his time in the English Premiere League will force him to be more sure-footed with the ball, because i still feel jozy has the most potential of all our strikers.

either way, kenny going to germany will surely force our other strikers to continue to develop their respective games.

  • Ha at 1:17 look at Beckhams punk ass. He has no idea what to do. He is a celebrity, not a soccer player!

  • Comment removed

  • plz... kom til brøndby istedet for duncan!!!!

  • anyone have the song name?

  • cooper played on man u's practice squad straight out of high school but decided to come back to the states because he wants to be here

  • Oh shit soccer is bigger and supported more in Europe? Holy shit, my mind is blown.

Thanks for the info, captain fucking obvious.

  • wtf is soccer? ^^

  • der muss einfach nach gladbach! neben friend...

  • und mit marin. das ist ein gute idee!

  • come to norway, we speak english and all our media is from u guys. no dubbed movies here, i can promise you.

    nice skills go rosenborg

  • Norwegians speak english? whats the order in most spoken languages in Norway? Norway already houses another American player Clarence Goodson so i was wondering.

  • 1. Norwegian

    2. English (I would guess 70 % of all norwegians can speak english)

  • I have a Norwegian friend that's easily more literate in English than the average American.

I really wish American grade-schools would teach foreign languages with the same priority that European schools do.

But there simply isn't as much practical need for us to learn other languages, and so we don't. And that's a shame, because learning other languages can actually help you understand your native language better, as well as simply reinforcing a broader national perspective.

  • SGE !!!

  • omg dude, come to frankfurt!

great city, great stadion, great FANS and some great sausages! =)

  • er kommt nach gladbach weil bradley ihm sagt wie toll es dort ist;)

  • joa ganz gut aber ob der sich in der bundesliga durchsetzen kann das is die frage?!?

    Egal

    SGE4ever!:D

  • Cooper 4 Frankfurt!!!!

  • aber ehrlich auf nach frankfurt !!!!!!

  • wir warten auf kenny :D

  • Kenny, in case you read your own video comments, don´t listen to those norse guys. Frankfurt is a much better place to live.

  • Hoffentlich kümmert sich die SGE um ihn !

  • Willkommen in Mainhattan ;)

Cooper please come to Eintracht Frankfurt.

  • Just wait and see.. next year Cooper will be one of the best player in norwegian league..

He will be a importan player for ROSENBORG (RBK):D:d:d:d:d

He also going to score most goal<3

  • It's not very hard to be one of the best players in the norwegian league.

  • Well... maybee not for a player from Barcelona, Chelsea, Manu etc. but for a guy from the USA.. yes it is!

But Cooper is a great player.. :D Going to take the changes for Rosenborg :D

  • I think a lot of americans are way to critical and maybe under estimate the level of Tippeligaen. Me myself, I am an american living in Norway and I would say that the level of MLS and tippeliga are very similar. Kenny Cooper could do well in Rosenborg, as he does in Dallas.

But still, Rosenborg must seem more tempting considering the possibility of entering Champions League and/or UEFA Cup. Personally, I would go with Tippeligaen. Just because of that.

  • WHAT IS THIS SONG?

  • i wonder why fulham didnt buy him

hes very mcbride like, but with more skill.

great video. i hope he gets called up for MNT duty soon.

  • We have Berisha instead. Let's hope he can do better than Cooper :D

  • Oh, no! Berisha won't be in Rosenborg so long, he's done in december - Thank god for that.

Then we can welcome Kenny Cooper, that wants to join Rosenborg.

  • Lets talk about football people. 1:01 B-E-A-U-tiful

  • NEWS:

    Cooper stays in USA.

As it is now, Kenny is not going anywhere. At least not in this season, for sure.

    crap..

  • yeah..

  • Come to RBK and play Uefa Cup!!!!!

    Cardiff suck!!!

  • I'm happy Cooper isn't moving. At the rate he is playing this year, and the national team call ups that are sure to follow this year, he will be playing in the top flight in England, Spain or Germany by this time next year.

The technical skills he possesses, especially for someone his size (6ft 3 in. 200 lbs) are quite amazing.

  • Rosenborg are the best team for players who wants to grow their football skills. It's a very good choice for Cooper. They are also in the top league in Norway.

Cardiff is MAYBE in Premier League after next season, and from there, they're not going to win against teams like Chelsea, Arsenal and Man Utd.

Rosenborg can win the Norwegian Tippeligaen, and win against Stabæk and other teams if they score on their chances.

  • I'm Cardiff born and bred, but have lived in Trondheim for 5 years now. I think I'm in a good position.

The Norwegian league is at a level somewhere between Championship and League One. RBK certainly arent the team they used to be either. No-one cares about the Norwegian league outside Norway.

Cardiff meanwhile are a club on the up. They play in the 4th best supported football league in the world, and are one step away from the biggest domestic stage in the world.

IMO, he should go to Cardiff.

  • "The Norwegian league is at a level somewhere between Championship and League One."

Give me a break! The fifth best team in Norway last season played in Champions League - and did it really well. I would like to see Cardiff in the same spot. It would have been ugly.

CCC is more stone age than RBK ever will be. If Cooper fancy a technical style of football, he's got to choose Rosenborg.

  • No offence meant, but look at the clubs side by side.... HamKam, FFK, Ålesund.... Birmingham, Forest, QPR. The Championship has far more strength in depth. RBK did very well in the CL last year, I'll give you that, but when was the last time another side qualified? And do you think RBK could do the same this year, because I don't.

As for technical football... have you seen Rosenborg recently? My girlfriend is a fan, and she can't bear to watch them right now.

  • come to RBK :)

  • you guys are getting all worked up over transfer rumors! hes not going anywhere till he makes an announcement.. everything else is speculation.

  • Look at this team!

    watch?v=I8EUnULblak

  • With Kenny Cooper in RBK, they're going to score on the lots of chances they have! Only in RBK - NAC, I think it could been like 15-2.

  • uuh.. Cardiff outplayed Middlesbrough and Celtic?

Are they better than Valencia? :P

Rosenborg just defeated the third best team in the Netherlands..... and are going to the UEFA cup.

  • Cardiff is not a shithole! Cardiff is the fastest growing european city around and with the bay we have a beautiful area for people to live in. We outplayed Middlesbrough last season and have already beaten Celtic in the Algarve cup, we now have a stronger squad than last season. We have the best centre back pairing outside the Premiership and signing Cooper will give us the fire power to go from a play-off team this season to a promoted team.

  • Why the hell would he go to the stinking pit called the English league below PL to play the likes of Doncaster and Leeds, when he can go to Rosenborg and play AC Milan in the UEFA Cup? Get real guys, Cardiff is a shithole in the footballing world, a fancy stadium won't change that. If he doesn't go to a team with tradition for CL football in the best country in the world, compared to Cardiff, he's retarded. No offence intended to Cardiff - supporters.

  • ELLIOTP01, where will his career go from Rosenborg?

Almost every foreign player who've been in Rosenborg have been sold to a top european team. Look at Fredrik Stoor: Before he came to RBK, he was nothing.. After a while, he became better and better. Now he's on the swedish national team, and is going to Fulham.

So, Kenny Cooper has a great future in Rosenborg!

  • he is going to rosenborg to play european cup ...

  • I'm a Cardiff fan and I will be very excited if we get him! This video shows he is strong, powerful, composed and has enough pace to go past players. With the skills and tricks he can do he reminds me of Ibrahimovic!

  • theyre going to be all over him even more so after todays performance against LA. 2 goals 1 assist.. almost got the hat trick. coming from a dallas fan: id rather see him to go england if he doesnt stay in dallas.

  • That the kind of player the American needs, not afraid to run at players & doing a few tricks

  • if cooper moves to rosenborg, where will his career go from there? dont forget hes only 23 years old. If he comes to cardiff then he has a real shot of getting to the premiership, either with cardiff city or a premiership club that takes an interest in him.

  • John Carew have played in Rosenborg where is he now? Aston Villa...Burn

Harald Martin Brattbakk have played for Rosenborg he played for Celtic.

We have the most talented team in Norway. and Cooper's manager comment that rosenborg is the club that cooper wants to play for.

  • Why would he sign for cardiff?

Recause cardiff have the best fans in the world, better then shity rossenborg

    Soul crew BRAPPPPPPPPPPPPPP

  • cardiff city also have a £30,000,000 stadium that can hold 29,000 people, it also has a 470,000 sq ft retail development between four major retailers and a brand new 70 room hotel with bar & restaurant. this will be completed for next season, by which time I would expect the club to be a premiership team. thats why he would want to come to cardiff.

  • That does not have anything with football does it? RBK are good economically yes, and they are planning to build on the stadium, but lal. If cardiff have room for 29 000 ppl they should be in PL, cuz the stadium is pretty empty all the time i guess. Lerkendal which have room for 21 000 is full all the time!

And as i said. It will be built even more! They are planning to make it between 30-40 thousand!

  • Tholia, the norway league?

hahaha, why would he go to such a pile of wank when he can play football over here.

  • Rosenborg have won the league 20 times and the Norwegian Cup 9 time. Last Season we won 2-0 over Valencia Home And Away. We playd 1-1 against Chelsea and we where number 3 in our group. What the Hell have Cardiff Done?

  • FA Cup runners up twice

    FA Cup winners once

We've won the Welsh FA Cup 22 times and came runners up 10 times

We've won the Charity sheild and beaten Celtic and Guimaraes in the algarve cup.

We've won the FAW cup and were in the semi finals of the cup winners cup.

We've also beaten Real Madrid in the past.

What the hell have Rosenborg done?

  • We've beaten Real Madrid, We've beaten Milan. We came to the quarters in the champions league ones. And as the other one said, league champions 20 times! And we've won the norwegian cup several times too!

Your not in the top division in England man! Get real!

  • not very impressive protesttheccfs.

    Norwegian Champions 20 times.

    Norwegian Cup 9 times.

Participated in Champions League 12 times. Reached the quarter-finals.

Sending home AC Milan after beating them at San Siro. Beat Real Madrid, Dortmund in Germany(when they where maybe best team in Europe), Valenciax2, Olympiakos several times and many more top european teams. Cardiff beat Celtic in algarve cup(lol). We nailed them in Champions League.

  • Ohh you have beaten Real Madrid once? in the past. Let me give you some facts about Rosenborg from the past. We have been ranked to the 6.place in the World Ranking by CNN Borussia Dortmund 0-3 Rosenborg Rosenborg 1-1 Juventus Rosenborg 2-0 Celtic Rosenborg 2-2 Inter Milan Rosenborg 1-1 Lyon Rosenborg 1-1 Arsenal Rosenborg 2-0 Real Madrid Olympiakos 1-3 Rosenborg Valencia 0-2 Rosenborg Rosenborg 2-0 Valencia Chelsea 1-1 Rosenborg and we have won our League 13 times in a row
  • Your league is shit, you can't even match our offer for Cooper and can't offer him 10x what he's getting now.

Your not playing champions league this year, which suggests you never won your league last season, even my mates can win your league.

We may be in the English 2nd tier, but it's rated as the 4th best league in the world, even before serie A of Italy.

  • Who cares about the League Rating... We are talking about the clubs... Ofcourse Cooper will choose Rosenborg

  • He'll go to the better club, who ever he see's that as being.

    Could be either team.

Plus we have a good friend of his at Cardiff anway.

  • Hahah! One of the reasons he wants to join RBK is that they are playing in the European Cup almost every year. And RBK has a goal to be one of the 30 best clubs. Copper is ideal for RBK, and RBK is ideal for Cooper.

  • Bit late arn't you?

Cardiff were in for him, but we decided we didn't want him.

Let him join your awful team.

  • Hahah, it still looks like you are interest in him since you still are discussing here, AND securely watching the movie.

It's almost two months since the transfer window closed. Why should YOU care if your club did think he was not good enough?

  • I haven't discussed it in two months mate, plus i don't watch the video, i pause it.

Why should i care? because it's my club mate, thats why.

  • haha, Cardiff? Why would he want to go there? LMAO

    -------------------------------------------

    I'll tell you why.

Because we're the FA Cup finalists with a real shout of getting to the Premier league.

We play quick pace attacking football and play to a better standard than your drivvel that you call football.

    Thats why.

  • Another great player come from USA. I believe Cooper can be like Brian Mc Bride in Premiere League playing. Even more, because his footwork and dribbling is better then Mc Bride. He is a Qualified Striker. Salute.

  • FC Schalke 04, Chelsea and Valencia

  • If you do not know who Rosenborg is, as it explains how much you know!

    CL last season.

Valencia 2 times the bet, a draw against Chelsea in the group!

Ended with 3. place in the group, and then they played against Chelsea, Lyon (?) and Valencia

  • He's going to be a brilliant player for Cardiff City, isn't he. Cooper's going to be playing in a very competitive standard of league, which is SO clearly better than Rosenborg. After all, who the hell are THEY?

  • come to cardiff boy well give you a welsh welcome we sing about our players over here mind not half time hotdogs

  • as much as we love kenny here in dallas we want to see him prosper.. good luck coop where ever you may go.

  • Coming to Rosenborg!!

  • Looks like a quality player, Hopefully he will be in a Cardiff shirt by the time the season starts

  • Shhhhhhh

    Don't let Birmingham know.

  • haha, Cardiff? Why would he want to go there? LMAO

  • Because we are a bigger club than Rosenborg

And the standard of British football is far better than the rubbish you lot play in Norway

  • HAHA, you sure are funny!

  • "Because we are a bigger club than Rosenborg"

    Haha, funny.

    1927.

  • music anyone?

  • He's going to be a Bluebird.

    Cardiff City FC

  • i had never really seen him play until today's all star game, and the kid is good

  • we want him at steaua to!!

  • cooper to unirea faurei

  • great player...he could easy play in a good european team

  • Come to Fredrikstad FK instead Cooper, we lead the Norwegian Tippeliga now ;P

  • Nice compilation of goals. What is the music? Artist/Song

Nice editing to go with the music - wish it was 4 or 5 minutes long instead of just 2!

  • with time...with time.

  • Music sounds like Strunz & Farah

  • cooper is a beast.

  • Kenny Cooper to Rosenborg BK

  • that bid was rejected by mls

  • what's a guy gotta do to get a call up for the National team?!

    KENNY ROCKS!

  • damn whattta stud!
