80's Commercials - Transformers Autobot Headmasters

No kidding, the Headmasters Cartoon is effectivily Season 4 of the G1 cartoon but it, Masterforce and Victory only came out in Japan, it still ticks me off that while Japan got brand new Transformers cartoons, North America got that stupid Cybercube re-release of G1 and didn't get a new Transformers Cartoon until Beast Wars, why Hasbro never imported Headmasters and dubbed it with the G1 Actors and why Masterforce and Victory never became a real G2 Show is beyond me

@snakes3425 Not true we also got reruns with live-action segments that had the same characters as masterforce, victory, zone, return of convoy, and operation combination. You forgot to mention zone ad why would it be g2? You made no scence and you were wrong about a number of things. Are you even a fan?

@neovoltron25 Yes, but everyone always talks about how they wished the pretenders and powermasters were in the cartoon and they were in season 5's live-action segments. I am just mad because I have heard a lot of stupid comments like "Too bad season 5 only aird in japan." Season 4 didn't even air as japanese fiction. I have seriously posted a comment about how it did air in america over 20 times. I just want people to get the picture.

There's a character called Masterson (whatever you spell that) and his HEADMASTER unit in transformers animated. Notice they got the idea of the name for the unit from the Headmaster toys.

I rember this commercial quite well. My favorite Headmaster, and one of the few I had, was Brainstorm. He is one of my once large collection of Transformers that I still have.

And if they had made her, it would've just been a cheap repaint/remold of Chromedome. One of the reasons I hate The Rebirth is that when it made Arcee a headmaster, it divided fandom as to whether an Arcee toy should be a headmaster or not. Had The Rebirth never existed, Hasbro might have done a proper movie-accurate toy of her years ago, but with fans polarized they couldn't please everyone, so no true Arcee toy ever happened.

Animated Arcee looks pretty cool though, if not perfect.

your right on the cheap repaint thing, but it would have been nice to have a headmaster arcee. practacally it would have been the colsest thing to a g1 arcee, if they relesed it back then.

I love the animation quality on the 1987 commercials, especially this one. It should have been used in The Rebirth Trilogy.
