Oh, good work! I enjoyed this view, as I visited Annecy just last October (2011). I think it is important to mention that it is not merely a 'village' as you state on the train, but the scenic old town is just a part of a rather large complex of modern towns, which offer many hotels and modern facilities nearby. It would be wonderful in the summer, I think.
