I didn't know you could kill Krunchas with the Team Throw until recently either.

I also recently found out that you can kill them by jumping on them while teamed up. I think that's kind of cool -- you could kill Krushas in the first game with Donkey Kong, but you don't have a heavy Kong this time, so Diddy and Dixie have to combine their weight.

Ah my favorite. This one will paste your balls to the wall. Took me a year and a half to complete it 102%. Compare that to doing DKC3 103% in 14 hours and I'd say this game def up my skills drastically.

wow, this is one of the best speedrun videos ive ever seen. u have obviously put alot of effort into this and know what u r doing. yet u can still tell its a person, and not a TAS speedrun. plus, i love the captions, they just add a special little something. i will definitely be watching this series, and i hope u keep up the fantastic work!

How do you keep the yellow text on the level? Like, when you entered Pirate Panic it still showed up on the actual level.

Could you explain to me how you do it?

It's simple but you have to be using an appropriate video editor that supports "overlays". You can either take a screenshot that includes the level name with BGLayer 1 off, or you can get the sprite sheet online and piece together the text.

Then, you load the image onto the overlay track, use Chroma Masking to take out the colour around the text and adjust the duration. It takes a few minutes really.

Speed Running skips a ton of that. a 102% speed run does a lot more, but till skips a ton. BaronKRoolenstein is doing a 102% speedrun so I think he's got that ground covered well.

A newly uploaded video won't have HQ right away. It can take half an hour to 3 until you get the option.
