  • Oh my gosh. I have just found the most fascinating and outstanding piece of music I have ever heard. Never before in my life have I been this delighted to have ears! Thank you so much for uploading this and thank you God, for helping me stumble into this!

  • Excellent reproduction quality!! Thanks for sharing!!

  • I grew up listening to this. Thanks for uploading it! I'd love to hear the Paganini piece... :)

  • @chuckinator5K

    Now posted :)

  • We listened to this on 8 track all the time in the '70s. Somehow it engaged the little monster in me and I would dance all around the house with a cape frightening my sisters and the dog. Anyone have a download available of the entire album? Thank you for posting! I look forward to more of your posts.

  • To my ears, Hans Wurman was much more musical than Walter Carlos, although the latter got way more publicity thanks to his/her collaboration with Rachel Etkind & Stanley Kubrick. This album really deserves a digital release!

  • @JustOccurred2Me

I totally agree; I think Wurman pulls a lot of emotion and feeling from this old Moog, something that many others failed to do. And for its time, it's a beautifully recorded and produced album. Definitely deserves a digital re-release.

I'm going to upload more tracks from the album shortly.

  • With all respect to Carlos, her version doesn't hold a candle against this. Viciously executed.

I just wish there was some way to get an mp3 version of this album.

  • I first heard this late one night in 1970 on my new AM-FM radio (FM at last!). I knew the piece, but I'd never heard it like this before. Blew my mind! That started my moog album collection. Great stuff. Thanks for posting this.

  • Funny enough, I looked and looked for this piece back in the 70's and never could find it. It was playing at Dixie HiFi which later became Circuit City.. Great!
