Oh my gosh. I have just found the most fascinating and outstanding piece of music I have ever heard. Never before in my life have I been this delighted to have ears! Thank you so much for uploading this and thank you God, for helping me stumble into this!
We listened to this on 8 track all the time in the '70s. Somehow it engaged the little monster in me and I would dance all around the house with a cape frightening my sisters and the dog. Anyone have a download available of the entire album? Thank you for posting! I look forward to more of your posts.
To my ears, Hans Wurman was much more musical than Walter Carlos, although the latter got way more publicity thanks to his/her collaboration with Rachel Etkind & Stanley Kubrick. This album really deserves a digital release!
I totally agree; I think Wurman pulls a lot of emotion and feeling from this old Moog, something that many others failed to do. And for its time, it's a beautifully recorded and produced album. Definitely deserves a digital re-release.
I'm going to upload more tracks from the album shortly.
I first heard this late one night in 1970 on my new AM-FM radio (FM at last!). I knew the piece, but I'd never heard it like this before. Blew my mind! That started my moog album collection. Great stuff. Thanks for posting this.
Funny enough, I looked and looked for this piece back in the 70's and never could find it. It was playing at Dixie HiFi which later became Circuit City.. Great!

With all respect to Carlos, her version doesn't hold a candle against this. Viciously executed.
I just wish there was some way to get an mp3 version of this album.
