if you're referring to EVO2010, they didn't separate the two, they held another event of SSF4 exclusively for women. the general tournament (or main event) was completely open and anyone is capable of entering. kayane played in both the women's tournament and the general tournament. of course she won the women's tournament, and went something like 2-2 in the general.

At first he was okay to make a FT5 for free, but I insisted after to make it a money match so that he wont considere the matches as casuals. I wanted him to play at his best so that i could see how it is. So don't say that he's not nice, it's just me that insisted him to take the money. :)

Everyone puts Daigo up on such a high pedestal. He played the way that he played because he is not perfect. He is an incredibly good player, but he's not a god. Great job in the Ladies Tournament Kayane. I hope you put some of your Soul Calibur time into Street Fighter so you can destroy Daigo next time

@MFCirca You should go to whatever tournament he's at and money match him for such useless comments - no one said he's a god, probably because no one is.
The guy wins the biggest tournaments of the world (not county, but world), back to back this time no less - if you can't put the champion of the world on a high pedestal, then I don't know what else there is to say.

Daigo always plays godlike hes never going to let you win people think he was playing sloppy but he wasnt you cant play perfect every round kayane did really good against him why is there so much hate cause shes a girl?? She can probably bodie more than half of youtube here freeeeeee

Daigo seems to be playing pretty sloppy. Not to be rude but I think he was going easy IMO. But there's no way I could beat him either, you didn't do so bad against him. I'd love to play Daigo though and hopefully learn what my weaknesses are.

I don't think Daigo let her win. He probably realized she wanted to play him for a learning experience when she insisted on a money match -- so he played her with some respect. Daigo did have some sexy footsies and mixups tho...

très bons matchs. si je puis me permettre un conseil au niveau de ton zoning, tu pourrais mixer les st. medium punch avec les st. h. kick, car ces derniers ont une allonge impressionnante et empechent ryu de sauter, ce que daigo faisait pour contrer tes pokes. sinon il te faut peu de choses pour rivaliser avec lui (pas sauter sur lui, pas de boules de feu trop près, peut-etre utiliser l'ultra 2 pour de meilleurs set-ups d'ultra). et en plus t'as que 19 ans.... ca fait flipper.

At first he was okay to make a FT5 for free, but I insisted after to make it a money match so that he wont considere the matches as casuals. I wanted him to play at his best so that i could see how it is. So don't say that he's not nice, it's just me that insisted him to take the money. :)

@wobhouse wow a typical daigo fanboy, thinks daigo is invincible...He does lose rounds kid..he's not perfect. She won those rounds because she deserved them not because he let her. I'm a daigo fan too but I'm not blinded like you. Daigo does lose and when he loses it's not because he let the other people win. Why not give her credit for winning rounds against the best player in the world instead of insulting her by saying he let her win. Grow up.

Wobhouse you do realize how good kayane is right? she whooped majority of the guys in the 128 pool including some really good players, and played her best, daigo is not sloppy at all, and saying that you can tell from the untrained eye makes it sound ridiculous, you obviously never faced daigo nor had hands on, just because you know his style doesn't mean YOU know him. Go to evo next year and fight him yourself before you just talk. He will give you a few hits to give you bad habits to own you.

@wobhouse Look I didn't mean to sound rude but come one man. He was not giving her a chance this was a money match he was trying. Kayane is a very good chun player. Saying you know how Daigo plays means nothing. Daigo is always changing his style to adapt to his opponent. Kenuty has a comment on here go up and read his comment it will explain it perfectly. Also Kayane said she wanted to make it a money match to make sure he plays at his best. Sorry man Daigo is human and makes mistakes.
