I used to sit there and watch him surf in San Clemente and just think how crazy his style was... sort of idolized the guy, but all the clean cuts would bag on him, calling him a druggie asshole.
If you have an anti-social attitude, which is what he is claiming he had, you won't get far in life in general. As for partying, the Aussie boys were partying harder and longer than this joker and they were allowed on tour. Besides all that, that guy Justin Potson or Robinson from Wave Warriors III was way better. This guy needs to learn some humility
i got the chance to meet him and his son yesterday, i had my 2 boys 10 and 11 years old, they took time to sign autographs and talk with us, super laid back cats, and deff. ahead of their time surfing and skating.....it was a pleasure being around the father son duo hope to see them again in the future, they had a big possitive impact on my 2 boys and for that they get 5 stars....

@Dneroart naw, he just happened to live in San Clemente near the magazines and surf industry, along with being in the Fletcher family enterprise, and of course along with his surfing talent, BUT it was John Holeman in Florida who was the original in the surfing aerial world and air 360's, but he kinda skirted around the attention.
That's good life advice at the end of the clip! If you have a bad attitude, nobody is going to want to reward you, even if you are super, super talented...
