For the pants, what I would do is take a second pair (possibly ones that have holes or other ware) then I would start cutting. Whichever pair fits the best would be the top part the rest will get cut off at right above the knee. Then start 'patching' the two (and possibly more if you have some cool scraps) and make yourself a cool looking pair of patchwork jeans! Can do it in strips, wide bands, or just squares of various sizes.

Make the pants into a bag! [Cut the leg part so that it looks like a skirt, sew the bottom, and add handles.]

Or unstitch the back pockets of a pair of jeans, trace them onto the flower printed pants, and cut them out. Stitch the flower print on the denim pocket and sew it back onto the jeans.

To solve the glue bleed-through you could use a product like Heat N' Bond or Peel & Stik if the fabric won't react well to being ironed. Hell, you could even use a close zigzag stitch and embroider around the design, that'd look really pro.

@HoudiniZucchini Woah, great Idea! You could use an iridescent fabric and use a design from a DOVER CD and use that. They're relatively inexpensive, and most of the ones with the CDs are great. I'm thinking either glitter paint or sequins haha! Omg, that is such a great idea!!

hm, crop the pants to three quarter length then hem them. Tighten the bottom of them slightly if they aren't already by pinching, pinning then sewing - or even elastic. Then you could get some wooden beads and bead the bottom of them. maybe? ha

For the flower pants:

If they are a stretch fabric you could make cool skinny pants or if they are non stretch you could do the old trick people do with old jeans and make it into a miniskirt by cutting the legs the desired length of the skirt, rip the inner leg seams open and using the spare fabric to make godets to form a skirt.

I would do form fitted Capri/Knickers. but all of the Ideas are wonderful. and depending on how much fabric the pants were made from, you might be able to get away with turning those vintage high waist Pants into a cute halter pant suit. something reminiscent of the late 40's Early 50's.. Awesome episode though. When I first saw the puffy paint I was having my doubts but it came out really well. I may have to throw a pair of wings onto one of my pairs of shoes. They look like they'd flap a bit though. Anyone have tips to stop the flapping without damaging the original shoe?
