  • how much will a set of axles cost

  • To - @vabeachbeastcbc1

Don't have the parts to make another set.

  • Just asking why can't you use plastic

  • To - @LaughoutLoud1311

    Use plastic for what?

  • Just bought a big foot like thet one.

  • ok so i just took apart a model monster truck and i also want to make one of these little trucks so what do i use for the roll cage of the truck and what engine was it?

  • To - @acespence

Did you listen to part A and B?

  • Awesome Bigfoot where did you get it?

  • To - @Ayden1224

    Thanks.

It's scratch built, I made it.

  • what sized rods are on it

  • To - @m107barrsttsniper

You mean the 4-links, they're Helicopter rods.

  • How much would u sell the mini Grave Digger 4

  • To - @zachls1997

They take 100 hours to make and $250 in materials. If I made another one to sell I'd list it on e-Bay with a reserve of $1000. I like to get $20 an hour. That's cheap for custom work.

  • where could i buy something like these

  • To - @enjoiorange

They're scratch build by me, sorry, not for sale.

  • @rcWizzard do you know of anything similar on the internet for sale?

  • To - @enjoiorange

Look at the Kyosho Mini-Z or the Losi Mini-T.

  • Is it possible to purchase?

  • To - @72rdub

    No, not for sale.

    Thanks.

  • Yea I will I just gotta paint it and its true but they don't weigh much or go super fast so they don't have to be really tough plus I was super bored so I just scrounged around

  • Man wiz u are awesome I have made one of my own after seeing these videos its a ramminator with 4wd but I used wire coat hangers

  • To - @rnicolaisen70

    Thanks man!

So post a video if it!!

Coat hangers, that would not be very strong.

  • This is someone who has way too much time on his hands

  • To - @jimmylayers

OR! Someone who does not have Cable TV - :-)

  • how much to sell $4,000

  • To - @link4899

You again!!! Stop playing around on my Channel!

  • You are a genius! You should sell these

  • hey what tires are they?

  • To - @blue2456

The wheels and tires come from the AMT model kit, #8149.

  • awesome job.. you sir are skilled

  • thats neat.

  • i have the traxxas gravedigger not bad but no 4wd

  • Hey still cant find that kit.

  • To - @Mrsupp1

Here are some active auction numbers. Copy/paste them into the e-Bay search window.

    370479948430

    190499029962

    380312518692

    400187613587

  • nice grave digger where can i get the body

  • To - @pinkpunx0305

This one is vacuum formed over the body that came with the Revell kit #85-1901. So your best bet is to search on e-Bay for the kit. You'll need the decals.

  • @pinkpunx0305

or get the replica grave digger body from traxxas

  • Have you ever thought about building a raminator, ramunition, or a USA-1 baby monster truck or have You just not got the time

  • To - @TheChevyman360

No, to busy with the 1/4 Scale. I have another body for the Bigfoot painted like the USA-1 that fits.

  • i got the USA 1 version of these mini monster trucks but its not a RC just a model kit! i love it!

  • To - @xXShadowRejectsXx

That kit has good tires/wheels to use on an RC version.

  • @rcWizzard thanks man for the input! their pretty soft and nice! may i ask how you managed to put the tires on? since the wheel hole is round but how did you convert yours for hex? thanks man!!

  • To - @xXShadowRejectsXx

There's an alum hub that the wheel is mounted on. Look close at 2:50.

  • I WANT PART 20

  • hey cool vid

    Got a cuople questions

i cant find any bigfoot kits so could you send me a template?

and what wire did you use?

    could you use fencing wire

  • To - @Mrsupp1

Search e-Bay for Bigfoot Model. You'll find several complete kits. Just make sure it's the 1/25th scale kit.

Use Music or Piano wire only, it's stronger and solders better.

    Good Luck.

  • does the kit include everything except the motor and electronics?

  • To - @mrawesome234100

The kit is a plastic model version of the truck. Which I used as a template to make the metal radio controlled Truck. Tires/Wheels are from the kit, as are some detail items, seat, steering wheel, dash etc. So you are right, no motor or electronics in the kit.

  • @rcWizzard , is it already set up yo have them in there? or do you have to modify it to fit suspension and steering servo etc.?

  • To - @mrawesome234100

No, the plastic kit is Not designed to be radio controlled. You have to make EVERY thing. Except the wheels and tires. I did have to modify the wheels with my metal lathe. Watch, and listen, to videos A and B. I vacuum formed the body over the ABS body from the kit.

  • p.s i have a mini t motor will it work??

  • @fireball681

You're better off with a 380 size motor.

  • how big are the wheel cuz i have some

  • @fireball681

    Then measure your wheels.

  • is it for sale

  • To-@justin41178

    No.

  • wait dose the grave digger kit come with wheels??

  • To-@fireball681

Yes, but they're to big, and not very well made.

  • did you use the wheels and tires that come with the model kit ?.

  • @tabbyman2009

    From the Bigfoot kit, yes.

  • @rcWizzard oh ok it looks great.

  • just curious, why do u have the steering wheel shaft attached into the center of the shock tower support?

  • @TMANNTYLER666

To give the shock mounts more support.

  • u shud make 1 and show how u make it i got confused

  • @bullrider837

Not sure when I can find a spare 100 hours.

  • would you sell one

  • @masterivey

    No, not for sale.

  • what size is the wire

  • @cesar11duran

3/32 inch, and 5/64 for the small areas.

  • cool

  • you have some serious skills , those trucks are awesome

  • that much man i thot it is at lest 600 for it

  • @myrcrevo1

$600 minus materials of 250 = $350 divide by 100 hours means $3.50 an hour for my time, no thank you!

  • can u build me one

  • @myrcrevo1

If I built another to sell, I would list it on e-Bay with a reserve of $1500.

They take 100 hours to build.

  • from were are the axles ?/

  • @macdude3585

The Grave Digger axle is scratch built.

Bigfoot is a 1/12 scale pan car axle.

  • are thay for sale

  • @myrcrevo1

    No.

  • vote up

  • how much does it take to make one

  • @connorweichbrodt

About $250 in materials, plus 100 hours to build.

  • Hey man... did u make these or did you buy them. volume messd up on puter. and if you baught it where can i get one

  • @XxUniqu3CrakaxX

    I made them. Scratch built.

  • can you no buy the shells from anywhere?

and can you use any monster truck kit ?

  • where do you get the shells for these models.

and what are the best servos and motors to use in these models.

    carl !

  • @SuperCarlito1993

I vacuum formed them over the plastic body that came with the kit.

The servo in the Digger is an Expert SL200.

Motor is a Stock Tamya 380.

  • can u use the plastic chassis instead of a metal

  • @cesar11duran

No, plastic is not strong enough to bolt the shocks and links to.

  • @rcWizzard wat kind of metal is it and where can i get it

  • @cesar11duran

Music or Piano wire. Most Hobby Shops carry it.

  • i love the big foot ♥ xD

  • i had a big foot modle when i was little but now i cant find it

  • @Joelepp13

    6.75 inches.

  • How did you make this??Would you sell them???

  • @gabe2304

    Watch part B.

    No, not for sale.

  • what coler blue did you use for bigfoot.

  • @TheChevyman360

    I painted it 10 years ago, I don't remember.

  • how much would you charge for the baby grave digger full drive system transfer case, rearend, drive shafts, and U-joints and any thing else I would need for the drive system.

  • @TheChevyman360

It's not perfected yet. Meaning, I need to, find- create- fabricate bevel gears for the differential. The first set got fried. So, I need to make one for myself, before I make one for someone else. And that's not going to happen before I finish the 1/4 Scale Grave Digger project. But an estimate would be around $600.00, and that's 2 wheel drive. Custom stuff is expensive!!

  • did you just sell a bigfoot model on ebay

  • @TheChevyman360

    No, Why???

  • how did you bend your music wire did you use heat or jigs or what so well awsome vids 5stars.

  • @TheChevyman360

Most hobby shops have the jig. An aluminum plate with steel pins sticking up, and grooves cut in it. You hold it in a vise. Also, a hand bender, at the area in the hobby shop.

  • @rcWizzard ok so do you think hobby town usa would have them because my local hobby place is hobby lobby and I bet they would not have that so I would have to go to little rock to find them in hobby town usa

  • @TheChevyman360

Why don't you call them and ask?

  • @rcWizzard ya thhats a good idea so is their any special name for them or just jigs.

  • @TheChevyman360

    Jigs or tube benders.

  • where did you get your models

  • @TheChevyman360

    A hobby shop, also Walmart.

  • where do you get your pan car diff

  • @TheChevyman360

    Hobby Hangar in northern VA.

  • what kind of rear end did you say it was

  • how thick is your music wire

  • @TheChevyman360

    5/64 inch. .078"

  • could you send me the template plans

  • @TheChevyman360

They have to be traced onto wood, like in video part B.

  • If you ever plan on selling them how much would you charge?

  • @JPMaxx15

Materials are $250 plus an ESC.

Labor is 100 hrs at $20 and hour.

If I made another one to sell, I'd list it on e-Bay with a reserve of $1200 or so. If it didn't sell, I'd keep it.

  • what about the rollcage whats that made out of?

  • were can u get all the materials for the trucks

  • @acespence

    - Hobby shops for the chassis parts and 4 links, some online stores too.

    - E-bay.

    - Some aluminum parts I had in my scrape bid.

  • where do you get the electronits to bild them

  • @skyfual

    Local hobby shops.

  • i noticed on the 1/4 scale grave digger videos u made ur own body for the truck is that possible to do that to a small truck

  • @acespence

  • how do you get thee eletroniks to mace it

  • @skyfual

Did you word that the way you wanted? I'm not sure what your question is. ?

  • how much did this cost total im huge on monster trucks and i love the digger

  • @acespence

Material cost is around $250, plus a ESC.

  • that is worth way more than 5 bucks

  • I'll give you 5 bucks for both..

  • where do u get these

  • @slashman3100

From my basement. They're scratch built.

Check out parts B and C.

  • can u drive the 1/4 scale grave digger?

  • @qtashful

No 1/4 scale in this video, but no, not yet.

  • do u sell the things u make

  • @MrJoshrizzuto

    If the price is right.

  • do you sell it ?

  • @mocho2021

If I make another one I'd sell it on e-Bay with a reserve price of $1000 to 1200.

  • i'm sorry but i have to be honest here.

    i lol'd @ 4:00 because it was jumpy.

  • awesome hey kevin does the 1/25 scale GD on 1/4 GD part 11B run?

  • @nitrofor3

  • @EbilinforcerDJ

  • i am wondering if you will be posting videios of you jumping it and have running videos anytime soon

  • @bgj27030

Yes I do want to do a video of it running, but I'm having problems with the ESC or the receiver. Need to fix that then do the video. Look at the end of Part 15 of my 1/4 scale project.
