ok so i just took apart a model monster truck and i also want to make one of these little trucks so what do i use for the roll cage of the truck and what engine was it?
They take 100 hours to make and $250 in materials. If I made another one to sell I'd list it on e-Bay with a reserve of $1000. I like to get $20 an hour. That's cheap for custom work.
Yea I will I just gotta paint it and its true but they don't weigh much or go super fast so they don't have to be really tough plus I was super bored so I just scrounged around
This one is vacuum formed over the body that came with the Revell kit #85-1901. So your best bet is to search on e-Bay for the kit. You'll need the decals.
@rcWizzard thanks man for the input! their pretty soft and nice! may i ask how you managed to put the tires on? since the wheel hole is round but how did you convert yours for hex? thanks man!!
The kit is a plastic model version of the truck. Which I used as a template to make the metal radio controlled Truck. Tires/Wheels are from the kit, as are some detail items, seat, steering wheel, dash etc. So you are right, no motor or electronics in the kit.
No, the plastic kit is Not designed to be radio controlled. You have to make EVERY thing. Except the wheels and tires. I did have to modify the wheels with my metal lathe. Watch, and listen, to videos A and B. I vacuum formed the body over the ABS body from the kit.
how much would you charge for the baby grave digger full drive system transfer case, rearend, drive shafts, and U-joints and any thing else I would need for the drive system.
It's not perfected yet. Meaning, I need to, find- create- fabricate bevel gears for the differential. The first set got fried. So, I need to make one for myself, before I make one for someone else. And that's not going to happen before I finish the 1/4 Scale Grave Digger project. But an estimate would be around $600.00, and that's 2 wheel drive. Custom stuff is expensive!!
Most hobby shops have the jig. An aluminum plate with steel pins sticking up, and grooves cut in it. You hold it in a vise. Also, a hand bender, at the area in the hobby shop.
@rcWizzard ok so do you think hobby town usa would have them because my local hobby place is hobby lobby and I bet they would not have that so I would have to go to little rock to find them in hobby town usa
These are down right amazing, i love your models man, I'm not sure but to you take these out for a little drive now and then? If so, mind getting some footage for us :)

Search e-Bay for Bigfoot Model. You'll find several complete kits. Just make sure it's the 1/25th scale kit.
Use Music or Piano wire only, it's stronger and solders better.
Good Luck.
