Congratulations on your new Ragdoll. We started giving Coco baths when he was just a kitten (about once a month or 2). The key is to get them used to water and not be afraid of it when they grow up. You should visit my site and watch the video on the "leash". Since they are not outdoor cats, I get them used to wearing the harness around the house so we can take him for a walk now and then. They enjoy excursions a lot. Good luck.
Thanks for posting. What a gorgeous Ragdoll! He even looks big with his fur wet. How old was Coco when he had his first bath? How frequently do you bathe him? I'm picking up my Chocolate mitted ragdoll in a week - he'll be 12.5 weeks old.
Wish my cat was that calm when I gave her a bath. I'm lucky not to get my arms clawed off, but she was a stray and like you said it's probably a good idea to begin bathing them when they're kittens.
The music is called "I am feeling lucky" I think. Thanks for viewing it. Coco loves water. In fact, as soon as I turn on the shower, he will get in and stay there until I step in...:0) He also enjoys playing with bath water and loves to carry his toys around the house searching for playmate(s)!

Coco is very playful. He calms down when I give him a bath. He loves it when I talk to him during his bath...:-0) It's our bonding time.
