  • Like most championship fights, round 1 of Leah v Maria is only a prelude of things to come. Leah started out a house of fire, but needs to be more solid in her execution. Maria delivered some snappy jabs, but needs to focus on her target, which is Leah - not Leah's corner man.

    The judges scorecards reveal that ound 1 was even, 10-10; this fight may have some staying power.
