Yep, you're right. Lotor's mother refused to marry Zarkon and he killed her. She was also from the planet Arus. Lotor is a classic case of Oedipus's syndrome:))

Not exactly. It's actually about obsession. Lotor (the "purple" guy) is in love with Princess Allura, the girl in the pink, but he can't have her. Then he sees Princess Romelle, the girl in the blue, and he is reminded of the love he cannot have with the other princess but persues after the second princess, even though he can't really have her either.

The song is from the movie The Lost Boys.

Princess Romelle is a distant cousin of Princess Allura and they look identical.Lotor is refused by both princesses.Unlike Zarkon, Lotor can feel love which makes him just a bit more human (despite his cruelty).

Gosh, I really would love to see the uncut version. I was hoping someone would put it up on youtube but I guess I'll just have to stop being lazy and go buy it ;D I've seen some clips of it and Sincline looks a million times worse than Lotor. Very frightening!

OOPS! Sorry it took so long to give you my answer. I don't remember all the episodes I used but they were the episodes and not any from the Fleet of Doom movie. The episodes were #15 - Give Me Your Princess, #16, Bridge Over the River Chozzerai, #17 - My Brother is a Robeast,#21 - It'll Be a Cold Day, and #30 -The Sleeping Princess.

I haven't gotten so far in the anime yet so could someone tell me- the other blonde woman(forgot her name!) is Allura's cousin, right? Is Lotor using her as a substitute for Allura? I forgot.Can someone tell me what episode those scenes are from?

Never mind, I watched those episodes. Damn, Lotor can be pretty scary sometimes. But it's pretty interesting to know the truth about his character.
