I absolutely hate Twilight. There's nothing I like about it. There's no depth to her characters, her plots aren't fresh or original and in all honesty, a lot of her writing is out and out cheesy. Really, it is.

I only hope if I am ever lucky enough someday to achieve my dream in becoming a published author, I'll have real skills, talent and most of all, the dedication in putting time, thought and passion into my work.

Being a fan of LJ's Vampire Diaries, I've felt like I would betray her if I read any other books about vampires, and in my mind I reasoned that VD is the best series on vampires I have ever read, so I'm not missing out on anything else. Bit disappointed that they didn't make a movie about VD, but some bits and pieces of Twilight sound very similar to VD. if you read eclipse, bella was scared he wouldn't like her after she changed.

he told her that it would be much easier for him, although he'd miss her heartbeat and the way her face flushed by the simple thing he'd do. but he says he loves bella for bella.

i disagree. i did read his side of the story but you probably forgot that he noticed her BEFORE he knew what bella smelled like. he wanted to protect her from jessica's malicious thughts in the lunchroom. also he was furious and frutstrated that he couldn't hear her thoughts. so he obviously DID notice her before he knew what she smelled like. again i think its not the smell that makes a vampire fall in love with somone, otherwise vampire wouldnt run around killing their preys anymore!

i think youre thinking she reads too fast because youre reading along....try just listening to it on this video, as it is, and its a fairly good pace. most of the problem with following along is that people read at different speeds and such, so youre trying to read at your own pace while she speaks at a normal speed.
