Damn, NYC was FUCKED UP back then! I'm born and raised in NYC, and my Dad and Grandpops are from Harlem and the Bronx. We moved to south Brooklyn in the late 60's when my bro was born 'cause of shit like this going down in Crown Heights. I went to high school in the crack-AIDS-homelessness late 80's and early 90's.
