Depression I believe is being in a place where: Life is probably telling you "'stop' give yourself a break. Listen to me and tap into my strength instead of what's outside you". We as humanbeings are not living the way we are suppose to. We are caught up in how others want it for us and 'yes' we are alone. Who knows what really goes on in our heads? The power comes when we embrace ourselves and be happy and contented in the knowledge that alone is OK. Not opening up is where the trouble is.

This was just on NPR. Blown away to hear Terrie hit the nail on the head so many times with me . The Ski rack comment perfect. Like what we go through to seem like we go through nothing. I hate to lump myself into a group ,but sometime I think I dont have to ,because someone else has already done it for me. It CAN drive 1 crazy. Terrie hits this right on the head. From the street perspective of pain, we go through an overwhelming amount of pain. From losing homees, going in an out of prison, no stability, to fighting to survive. Based on our life style, expressing any kind of emotions can be looked upon as a weakness and could get you killed.

Black Pain will expose alot, but ultimately it will HEAL alot as well. Keep it up Terrie.
