  • EFT everyone have to try. look for healingmagic. is name is robert smith.

  • Not enough space on here lol. Anyway, as I was saying.. Trying to grab air to breathe. It's not very comfortable at all and it truly does feel like you are about to die. My first severe panic attack I RAN to the Drs and he checked my chest "Your airways are very clear. Perfect in fact" I was like "Umm, I can't breathe, help!" Then he explained to me that I was having a panic attack. I was convulsing I was that bad. I didn't want to experience it again. Unfortunately it still happens :(

  • @TheShAdOwFoRm are u always nervous or anxious am always stiff am never relaxe i wanna know if thats ur problem too?

  • @NICACHIKO Yes, always nervous and anxious. I can never relax. My blood pressure is always high and im always worried about stuff. I've been to 3 different drs who all said the same thing. That im a very anxious person. I think this stems from having to deal with the death of a close friend in my early teens. Even when I'm trying to sleep, It takes forever for me to relax....and when I am actually relaxed and not thinking about anything, a panic attack will hit again :(

  • @TheShAdOwFoRm yes me too , am getting getting massage , my feet my hands so tense , i try not to think of nothing but its imposible , do u get tense in you feet?

  • Almost never in a soothing relaxed environment huh? Na uh. That's when it happens to me... in my own bedroom not really thinking about anything.. just watching a funny movie or whatever and BAM! I feel like I'm not getting enough air. I start shaking and feel the sudden urge to run.. doesn't matter where. Anywhere. Because if I run somewhere, when I stop, I know that those gasps of breath will be comforting coz I'll feel it in my chest. The worst thing is trying to grab air and ur chest is tight

  • EFT LEARN IT, USE IT!!!

IT'S SUPER SIMPLE, AND IT WORKS WONDERS IN THE "MENTAL" & "EMOTIONAL" STATES!!

  • This guy kind of sounds like Criss Angel

  • Great video, this is basically what your will hear in CBT. Thanks for posting because there are so many people out there who suffer from panic attacks, myself included.

  • What happens to me is that I start to feel extreme fear, and start to imagine stuff and start to cry and want nothing more than to run and scream and keep on running, but I can't because somehow I know I shouldn't. Until a few months ago I started to cry really really loud, like hysterical sobbing, and it has helped a lot to relieve the anxiety I'm feeling at the moment compared to how I just used to hold it all in. o.o IS it weird?

  • I like the fact that you've explained the video in simple layman terms, making it easy for anyone to be able to understand and follow through. Plus the steps that are being shown is also very simple to implement. Have given a thumbs up for the video and am going to share with my self-improvement blog readers! :)

  • i NEVER hyperventilate when i have panic attacks so this method does NOT work for me, and i am always very dizzy and usually faint or grey out from the overwhelming feelings

  • @TheBrradsullivan Just remember to shift your thoughts of fear to thoughts of controlled breathing as the video describes. Your dizziness is a result of heart palpitations and out of control breathing along with blood being re-routed in your extremities. Tell me, do you suffer from hot flashes?

  • @Jensagirl ...thats just it, i dont ever over breath, only sometimes i get a racing heart. ill just be going about my day and my hands/ face will turn yellow, ill get a million degrees like im in an oven or someone is poking me with a hot poker, then i get wholy body butterflies, depersonalization, tunnel vision, electric jolts, tight chest, body numbness...and then i faint. physical activity (even walking) will bring this on, ive been tested to death they cant figure out whats causing it.

  • @TheBrradsullivan Its amazing what stress can do to the body, it will tear you down and spit you out. It will show you who is the boss and bring you to your knees. If you have been checked out by the doctors and they see nothing physically wrong with you then shift your focus to mental/neurological issues. We all have stress and its always at the forefront of our thought......even when we sleep. How are you sleeping anyway. Do you try and get atleast 7 hours of solid, uninterrupted sleep?

  • @Jensagirl yes, i usually wake up at least twice during the night in a cold sweat and have to walk around, watch tv/ eat etc. but in total im still getting about 8 hrs a night

  • Great video!! ::)

  • great!

  • Had my first one yesterday, it was intense and scary as hell! Extremely dizzy, everything going numb, I panicked and called 911 and thankfully they talked me out of it... Heart felt like it was gonna pop, like literally, boom. This video really helped. I will start doing these things immediatly!

  • i had a panic attack last night.. i felt like my leg went numb.. i ran downstairs.. my mother told me to sit down and take deep breathes.. i started rapidly shaking and i mean i was shaking, i tryed to stop but couldnt properly breathe started shiting my self and i still feel some symtoms..

  • This is excellent advice and I can say I was having one and I BELIEVED what was being said and by the time I hit the end of the video, firstly after watching the video and realizing its not just me that suffers from this at times, I now feel fine

B egood to yourselves and dont beat yaself up over everything! THERE IS AN ANSWER and this video touches on it

  • Oh hey! Have you considered anxiety zero technique (It is at anxiety0.info)? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my cooworker pretty much cured anxiety with it.

  • Very good video.

I dropped my classes because I couldnt handle public attacks of anxiety and it was only three weeks of class left...thats how bad I feared it

  • this seems a little basic. Isnt deep breathing like the first thing most ppl do for panic attacks? Im in so much distress that it pretty much controls my breathing and trying to conform to pattern adds to the attack.

  • see its hard for me to do any types of excersises bc i get them in class. they happen while im reading out loud or right before im going to read out loud. i am avoiding going to school because of my panic attacks and next year ill be in college. im so scared and if anyone can help me please

  • this helped me so much - I just had such an attack while waiting for my flight... many thanks

  • this really helped thankyou so much...

  • Wonderful tysm for making and sharing this video with us. I am deff gonna check out your full video!!

  • I used to very rarely have panic attacks but over the past year they have become an occurrence I have many times a day. If my teacher wants me to give an answer I panic. Sometimes I get scared just sat there... I find the less formal the situation the less this happens... But school assemblies kill me. You have to sit still, trapped in the middle of a row, without talking for half an hour. This is awful for me. I have thankfully now explained this to my teachers and no longer have to attend.

  • @WildYetWonderful in my point of view, i think that what u did is ignoring the problem, running away fro it, instead of confronting it................ it'll be hard at the beginning but within the time it'll disappear completely..

  • @WildYetWonderful its better to just confront it cuz when you do,u are assuring yourself that nothing is wrong and you are ok.thats what i do when i have them.but what triggered my 1st one was smoking weed lol.thought i was gonna die but these things said in this vid really work.all u have to do is convince yourself nothing is wrong basically and you'll be fine

  • thank you very much..its good to hear from somebody who gets it..so many people including my wife cannot understand how terrifying these can be and treat you like a fucking whacko..i will definitely dowload your video..quick question..should i keep taking or quit taking lexapro?? i have been having panic attacks lately even w/ the medication..im taking a flight to denver in a few weeks and am trying to find these type of self help videos to ease my fears..

  • Okay this does help but what happens when you are talking to someone and then have a panic attack....Like I have panic attacks around teachers and they don't "believe" in that so they look at me like I am nuts!

  • you need to worry about yourself..screw anyone who doesnt understand..or you could simply state im having an anxiety attack and need to get it under control which may take a few minutes..i think people who are not sensitive to anxiety attacks need to educate themselves..anyone could develop them..very common..nice to have a forum to speak about it..

  • @crowers73 :)

  • just watching these videos help

  • My Panic Attacks have not come Back,Listen now, it will help you Heal - ** badanxiety . info

  • This was helpful. Thanks for posting it. I also found your website to be very useful. Thanks for taking the time to do all this.

  • In the 70's I suffered from panic attacks ending up in ER numerous times with heart palpitations & very rapid heart beat to the point of passing out. I felt I was losing my mind. My family practitioner put me on Inderal but was concerned about long term use due to risk of congestive heart failure. He told me about the breathing techniques you present in this video. I practiced until I was able to gain control over attacks and to the point I was able to discontinue the medication.

  • This is a technique every anxiety sufferer should learn, but it might not actually stop the attack in 5 minutes, LOL

It does help you not to have such severe attacks though. I have been doing this for a long time and usually I dont get to the point where I'm rolling around on the ground gasping for air any more. Breathing control makes em less scary.

  • This was actually very informative...

  • This was really poopy.
