  • ah man essa eu ja sabia seu noob!!!

  • so q nao tem meduza s gaze

  • When save the game, this infinite magic continue?

  • Hey brother, thanks for the video and tips. It took me plenty of tries and I almost though that it was impossible. I kept trying and I see now that you have to be very precise with your movements and timing. I got it now.

  • i love t he game

  • i remember doing this like 5 years ago

  • just beat challenge of the gods

  • I tried this method. Your other method is easier.

  • so can just do that through the whole game?

  • Does it work on PS3? I die every time I try it (at the moment of the jump from the roof over the two crates) I am playing it on a PS3, does it work for someone on PS3

  • Its the same game on either system. The problem is that this method is pretty difficult. See my other regenerating magic video for a much simpler method.

  • does it work on PS3? I die every time I trie it (at the moment of the jump from the room over the two creates) I am playing it on a PS3, does it work for someone on PS3?

  • hmmm does this last forever? o.O

  • Yeah, but I'd recommend using the method in my other regenerating magic video. Its much easier.

  • sweet x_x

  • thanks men. i figured out how to skip this puzzle now.

  • Dangit....i had to leave so i coudlnt get to it and get the infinite magic thing so now im past that....what was the combo to get up there???? is it square or triangle after rage..then what? i need help.... please!!

  • hey thats really cool!!! im playing on god mode and im gonna go try it! thanks! i hope it works for me!!

  • Ok Wait please someone respond...

What are the exact buttons for this

    Its Hold Triangle

    L2(Posiedons Rage)

but then what do you do?

    what buttons?

  • First off, you will want to watch my Regenerating Magic V2 video because its much easier to leave the room that way. But the large box inside the room is a good place to practice the "higher jump" if you've never done it.

  • The button sequence is Hold Triangle, L2, Square, X. Once you have lvl 2 BoC you can also do L1+X, L2, Square, X.

  • ok wen i do it i just end up falling into nothing and then it says i died? any help?

  • Yes, watch my other video - its a simpler way of doing this.

  • same here!! i cant do it! i just keep on dying!!

  • You will probably have more luck if you watch my other video - you won't die using that method.

  • wow, that's very cool. DIY infinite magic without cheats. LOL!

  • so easy i done game many time

  • zomg I've heard that friggin' "Freeze and destroy them all..." so many times... I never want to hear it again.

  • LOL. Same here. Once you get used to doing it you don't have to listen to it that much anymore.

  • I just fall into the underworld when I try this. Is there a timing aspect that im missing?

  • There's a very fine line between the inside of that room and the glitch abyss where you fall to your death. If you position yourself halfway in the wall exactly as in the video and are able to Icarus Lift (double jump) directly behind the pillar you should be able to do one more Icarus Lift to the outside of the room. It takes a while to get the hang of it.

  • nice i did this yesterday on god mode took me about 10 times but i got it.. im attempting a speed run with this not doing so well.. im at the desert of lost souls with a time of 58 mins... would be less but i missed the "longer jump" on the part where you obtain the key from that lady that falls to her death -.- oh well lol i guess my end time will be 3+ hours

  • I have yet to accomplish that "longer jump". Perhaps on my next run I'll do it until I get it but I don't like all the backtracking after failed attempts.

  • Here's a tip to prevent backtracking save the game after the lady falls then after each failed "longer jump" hit select then restart from last checkpoint.

The infinite magic is fun to have but i love the challenge without it but my current run is a God mode NUR+ so having it will increase my chances of owning those clones.

  • In a NUR+ you might actually find you will exhaust your reserves faster than you can regenerate it. lvl 1 PR doesn't last as long so regeneration time is cut down. Against the clones you might have to block for a second or 2 occasionally. I don't know because I've never tried it but I can't imagine its too difficult.

Good point about restarting from the last checkpoint. I guess if I was really trying hard to pull it off then it would eventually dawn on me to do that lol.

  • Yeah true but my strategy on the clones will be kind of like what Shinobier did except i'll use a combo of plume of Promethus and PR.

Lol yeah but look on the bright side at least when attempting the "longer jump" and restarting from the last checkpoint you don't have to constantly hear "freeze your ememies kratos and the power of the gorgon will be yours."

^ I've heard that message so much that i sometimes hear it when i sleep ^_^

  • lol i said the message wrong.... but you knew what i ment :p

  • lol "freeze and destroy them all with Medusa's gaze and the power of the gorgon will be yours" I must have heard it 1000 times.

I'm attempting the longer jump and a couple times I really thought I had it. I still haven't pulled it off but I think I'm very close. If I get decent at it I'll try to make a video.

  • Same here.

    Good luck with that shit..

  • I've given up. That exploit is ridiculous. I'm not even going to attempt it anymore. I started a speedrun today and was just hoping to get less than 2:30 (maybe unrealistic because I'm not replaying segments obsessively) but I'm beginning to understand what you mean about them not being very fun. It's been a little bit frustrating and I'm making mistakes that I almost never make. I think this is gonna be my last speedrun for a while.

  • hehe, the stress of speedruns. It really does get frustrating when you start making mistakes and the segment becomes a chore - instinctive tasks suddenly start requiring concentration. But it's all the more rewarding when you nail an area.

Cool video anyway, I haven't had a chance to try this yet as I haven't played GoW1 for a long time.

  • Well your GowII run is fantastic so far. I think it will be hard to beat.

I know what you mean about nailing a segment. It was very satisfying to complete certain segments almost completely mistake-free. But it did become a little bit of a chore and I ended up just playing through my mistakes the 2nd half of the game. So it wasn't even a true speedrun and my total time was 2:32:08 on God Mode. Not even as fast as ballofsnow.

  • You finish your speedrun yet? I did one on God Mode and finished with a (very improveable) time of 2:19:54.

  • Nice time, i'm not sure what mine what of been i haven't finished it yet (im lazy) i've been been playing GH 3 a lot but i just stopped cause i couldn't beat the clones even with infinite magic also im going to sell my ps2 and all the games so i can buy a 360 so i might try again another time from the beginning cause im my run i told you about it sucked cause i couldn't nail the longer jump..

  • I couldn't land the longer jump either. Probably would have cut off another 10 minutes but I can't do it.

  • I've found a simpler way to accomplish the Athens Square skip. I call it the "longest jump". I think it will help you a great deal. I'm putting the video up today.

  • Yeah I finished it at 3:51:31. Plenty of room for improvement as Shenminiu has demonstrated. I'll go for another attempt some time soon.

  • I saw that. Great job.

  • Good to see you got the hang of the Higher Jump. Satvare would be impressed with the use of just two Icarus Lifts to pull it off. A small time saver but as we all know..those add up fast.

~Have you had the chance to try yourself with the "Longer Jump" *or just the regular "Long Jump"?

  • I have had no luck with the "longer jump". For this exploit I only use 2 regular double-jumps (from what I can tell Satvara uses 3, or is he doing something else?). I can now do this in less than 5 attempts most of the time. I wonder how many people are using this? It obviously makes the game incredibly easy, even on God mode.

  • The Longer Jump is basically a ledge hold to jump *attack while rising then brief pause to reset air attacks*, 2 air squares to Icarus Lift. Long Jump is jump to 2 air squares to Icarus Lift.

    ~That it does

  • I have yet to complete the longer jump but I've come so close to getting it that I think there must be some luck involved (if not, I'm extremely impressed). I might get it to work but I'm sure I won't be able to repeat it with any consistancy. Can you think of a place to exploit using the long jump? I think I can pull it off but don't know where to test it out.

  • It isn't a luck matter..purely timing/position based. I've done it just once. Oddly, when I did it, it was on my first (mock attempt) try while showing company..I was in the middle of saying how I'll never get it when I landed it...

~Satvara shows a few places to use Long Jump
