  • I still get goosebumps when I listen to this credit ending. I miss the 80's so much. :)

  • @taurusgirl65 That's funny because although I had seen these credits and heard this theme a thousand times, it still gave me goosebumps because it reminded me when I used to love this show as a kid. And yes the 80's were the greatest! They're trying to bring it back but just barely and it would take an eternity to match the fun we all had as kids back then.

  • @taurusgirl65 Me too

  • Is it just me or do they always seem to use the number 6 on those occasions?

  • BARKLEY!

  • The music from 1:05 to 1:18 always gives me the chills! Love it!

  • @j2tharome15

damn, you're right. goosebumps. Joe Raposo was a musical genuis.

  • i think this would of been the sesion i watched as a kid i was in kindergarten that year

  • Back then, episodes of Sesame Street only had closing credits if they aired on Friday or ran short on Monday-Thursday. You can tell that these credits are from a Friday episode because the funding credits for Sesame Street used to end with "Recorded at Reeves Teletape III" or "Facilities by Unitel Video, Inc." on Fridays. On all other weekdays, they excluded that message.

  • GO FOR THE BASKET!!!!!!!!!!

  • I so remember these days, I was only five in June of 87, now it's June of 2011. insanity...

  • Oh yay, I wasn't aware you reposted this, thanks.

  • did every episode end with the letters "something" and R, and the number 6?

  • @silvRboLt95 You mean the letter A?

  • Wow. I didn't know the mouth moved. I thought it was open all the time.

  • Man, I sure wish I could find a complete recording of this closing theme. Most of the time, it usually fades in from the first bridge, but on one or two occasions, it has faded in a bit earlier, giving us a little more blowing from Toots Thielmanns. Thanks for all your uploads, NantoVision!

  • @superAJ71 I have some uploads os old sesame street too. Check them out.
