  • i live near ther (bin mahmoud)

  • this is not Qatar I beleive its Dubai... check in 0:14 sec you will see the Taxi's color is beige and in Qatar the taxi's color is light green

  • @basoonda Sorry to tell you, but this is most certainly Qatar. I filmed this video on the roof of my apartment, in Bin Mahmood, next to La Cigale. Doha has since fixed the giant pothole that caused all this chaos. But the intersection in this video is directly in front of the George II Hotel.

  • hahahahahah damn that's messed up.

  • what a mess. I remember when I was in Naples Italy there where not a lot of traffic lights everybody just blew their horn's and I think the traffic flow was better then if there was a light .

  • i dont think is the worst just look at the video carefully, u will find that the drivers most of em dont stop while they intersect the road, especially look at the south intersection there was a van idk wat the he was trying to do but he closed that side for couple of second

  • They just need a big circular barrier right in the middle, turn it into a one-way roundabout.

  • CARS LOOKS LIKE AUNTS!!!!

happy Ramadan time to all there in Qatar, from Argentina!.

  • Jakarta is 1,000x worse.

  • most idiots that are doing uturns are probably indians

  • 19 Nissan patrol in your video!!!

  • i think the most idiotic person on this planet designed this intersection

  • This is the main disadvantage in Qatar, they drive like a shit.

I hope one day they follow the drive's rules, when they driving.

  • the way my dad drives, if i lived there, i wouldnt be alive right now!!

  • Worst drive!!!!

  • They drive like shit! haha, sometimes is so hard to drive here in Qatar! ;P

  • Drivers do very well at negotiating other vehicles and proceeding safely through the intersection.

No need for expensive traffic signals.

  • yes yes, that's the qataries as i remember them

  • Am passing through Doha on the way to Dar as Salaam next week. Glad I won't be crossing any of those roads!! Cool song by the way - nice recording too. I love real handclaps!!

    Shukran.

  • all beirut intersections are much worth than this one lol..

  • Vauu This is amazing

  • no crashes. These people are used to this kind of driving. They can handle them selves. This wouldnt work too well in the US though.. I dont really expect people to understand, you gotta travel around the world to come to realize that people live different life styles and though it doesnt suit us, it's fine with them.

  • lol no crashes that's awesome

  • City planning 101 = Traffic Light :)

  • Check out the white van that makes a 360 degree turn for some reason, ruining all the lanes at 0:53

  • maaaaaaaaaaaaaan thats funny why dont they fix that

  • RBCs gets stuck in a vein !

  • why 76,786 views ?

  • This is WHY driving is so easy in Bahrain!

  • GOLLY GOOD GRACIOUS ME!

  • Wow thats rly crazy i have born there i didnt saw that

  • good drivers!!

  • lol this is crazy, also watch people walk in the middle haha. It makes it more difficalt because they never use their right/left signals!!

  • im from qatar and i go to this intersection every single day its always like this =S

  • all of them are indan they dont know how 2 drive 010

  • ha ha ha its really funny one

  • yes i know that intersection it s front of Al saad st.

  • No traffic lights?

  • ohh hahahahahaha this video made me laugh so hard! hahahaha i dont remember this intersection! hahaha soooo funny!

  • this video made me laugh hahahahahahaa

  • It gets worse every day.

Cant wait for that freeway there eventually going to build.

  • فوضى

  • i knw the owner of the house in the background :P

  • LOL well done !! hahaha its in BIN MAHMOUD next to AL SAAD PLAZA

  • i miss home.

  • I think YEMEN is FUNNIER.......they dont use their intention signals(turning) they honk their horns & point w/their fingers. IT was said that when the 1st traffic light was introduced in Sana some 40 years ago......it had to be manually changed by an attendant in the booth. Once a driver stopped at the light&signaled to the attendant. driver told him he would give him 1 riyal to hurry up and change it to green b/c he was in a hurry. ..............

    peace.

  • @translationwiz YOU THINK YEMEN IS BAD COME TO EGYPT

  • Yeah, I was in Cairo-zamalik 2001.........Had a wonderful time. Great country. Great people. What can I say........I cried when I had to leave. I understand; lots of cars. LOTS of cars. So many people. But I dont know.........Yemen is still the craziest I've seen. ......

    Salam/peace.

  • looool its really annoying!!

  • Its the pedestrians I feel sorry for !

  • haha there is no traffic light lol

  • that what happend in middle east >> no 1 know how to drive!!!!

  • nt really, people drive on 2 wheels in the middle east

  • if they didnt no how to drive all the cars would of crashed

  • let s correct some grammar here. It is not would of, it is would have crushed

  • oh im sry mr grammer

u got wat i was trying to say !

  • van at .53 is real funny seen

  • A propósito do vídeo no YOUTUBE ----- The Worst Intersection in Doha, Qatar --------- que loucura!

  • No idea of no entry'

  • lol

  • People in this "country" have no idea how to drive. Any courtesy shown on the roads is a huge surprise and is always a western driver. Sorry, but that's a fact!!

  • hoooo shit

  • What is that white van doing at 0:53 ?? That's hardly helpful....

  • lol

  • there is supposed to be a small roundabout thingy...

  • it was funny ))

  • emmm i am qatari saw nm its good lol

  • we got thrss in this streets

  • thats me and my friend at 0:33 xD

  • It seems to me to be a well disciplined, free flowing intersection unlike all those with roundabouts or signals. Even the pedestrians got accross !!

  • LOL!

  • hahaha i agree agree lots of money but no brains hahahahaha

  • lol, they got plenty money but they luck brain lol.

All they need is either a traffic light or have a draw some signs on the street (like give way sighn or something ).

  • I believe that should read 'lack brains' & Einstein...

  • that was on 2008 lol they fixed everything!

  • Thanks for the comment.

I wouldn't sat they fixed "everything." This intersection could use another stop sign, or something. But the giant pothole in the middle of the road, has been fixed. This alone has greatly improved the flow of traffic and the safety of those on the road. Truth be told, I credit the improvement of this intersection to this video and to the good people (like you) for watching/sharing it.

    Shukran

  • i think this is bin mahmood area

  • all streets in Doha its bad

  • hahahahah which are is this ?

  • Nice Song

  • LOOOOOOOL

  • bin mahmmod area i agree danger intersection.....

  • HOLLY crap LOOOOOOOL..this is craZYYY

  • mwahahaha!i'll show this to my students so that we'll all laugh together!thanks!

  • Wow... hahaha

  • look at the hiace van doing a U turn 0.53sec. crazy fucker i love the freedom to drive however i like. ur more alert and aware of ur surroundings. lol maybe not surroundings.

  • same like India......besides there's lot of Indian&Pakistani driver in qatar...lol

  • I LOVE IT???//

  • they put a traffic light there

  • I hope they did. That's the reason I made this vid.... but for some reason, I don't believe they put a traffic light at this intersection. I'll be back in Qatar in a few weeks to check it out. Thanks for the info lYlirinda.

  • NOPE, there is NO traffic light there. HOWEVER, let it be known that the giant pot hole in the middle of the road has been fixed. YEAH!!!

  • LOL i know !!!

  • jesus sake!what does the engineers trying to say here?

  • lol that's qatar it's a perfect place to suicide j/k (just kidding).

  • loool wat can i say

  • man u r awesome!

  • We have the worst streets in the world. Fact.

  • look at that stupit mini bus driver what he done in the street at 53.s loool

  • hahaha...btw this is hilarious

  • I wonder if this is really in Qatar. If so where's the location? How come there is no roundabout here? All i know is that most of the intersection in Qatar has roundabout.

  • If this isn't Qatar... then where am I living? The exact location is written in my description of this video. And I quote: "YES this intersection IS in Doha, Qatar. These 2 'intersecting streets' are found directly in front of the George 2 hotel, next to La Cigale." Thank you for your concern and comment.

  • Nice video capture

  • hahah i think i have seen it B4

  • i cross this intersection every day lo0ol :D

  • looks like this intersection is handled better than the ones with traffic guards (e.g., TV roundabout, 7:15am on a weekday)!!!

  • CoOoL hehehe

  • df. Thats not Qatar o,.o

  • Its a good thing they dont drink and drive like in the West lool accidents left n right on that road

  • hahaha look at the mini bus on 0:55

  • haha there were actually two minibuses !

  • hhhhhhhhh it looks crazy

  • This is why I am afraid to drive here...I will just keep letting people drive me everywhere, lol!

  • wow...it seems that they are good drivers ...not even a single accident...I saw people crossing the intersection too

  • im so so scared to drive in doha now. LOL thanks :-)

  • LOL i know it looks scary but while driving there it feels so normal

  • haha..nice...

  • Because everyone one in the Gulf is either ego-centric, ignorant, jaded, or deeply un-trainable driving will never be OK.

If everyone is Doha just used their turn signals, slowed down, let one person in from a slip road, and entered and exited the roundabouts in the same lane their would be a noticeable drop in traffic.

But alas it will never be. To all those with 500,000 qr cars I pity you but I pity your insurance company even more.

  • Dammmmmnn !!

  • looool actualy its not an intersection its more like a narrow street , now there is alot of wholes inside of it , so no one can really speed it :P but i like it there its soo funny specialy when indians are driving lool

  • shame on them wallah ...

  • INSANE!!

  • not in doha u f**k

  • ummm... yes it is.

    Thanks for your comment.

  • Yeh, i've been done that road as well. But not a night.

  • loooool the cruiser turning right at 0:30 before the GMC was me ahahah man i was horning the guy in front of me to move XD

  • LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

  • Typical for Doha. You have to live here to know just how bad the driving conditions are. Thanks for posting!

  • i've been living in Doha for almost 2 years now, the driving conditions are not as bad as you say....it's the best but it sure isnt that bad...

  • yea i no where it is bt ddnt they chnge it

  • this is nt evn in doha which street is this

  • This is on one of the many "no name" streets of Doha.

It might have a name, but I can't find a sign anywhere??

But it's right off of C-ring, a block from LA Cigale, directly in front of the George 2 Hotel.

Look for the giant hole in the middle of the street. Ya can't miss it.

    Thanks for watching everyone!!!

  • very awesome and scary....

hmmmm thats why i dont like to drive here....

  • They don't heed the stop signs, why would they heed a stop light?

  • a roundabout would solve this issue.

  • Is that in Bin Mahmoud? and yes most people don't know how to drive on the streets. and most locals have no ethics. but i guess things are getting better with the new traffic rules and such. :D

  • I think Heads off to the drivers that Not a single Traffic Jam occur at such a blind intersection

  • Qatar is the best country in the world, there is no such thing as middle class in qatar, everyone is rich :)

  • i agree

in my country we are mostly all the same, i wount say we are rich but to the rest of the world hell ya we are

and lets deal with the facts people drive crazy in there comparing to the states but he atlest we dont get bothered by cops every day for stupid reasons

  • I ive in canada and its like america junior, i couldn't agree with you mroe about the stupid polcie and people, also, the west is goignt hrough a heavy recession, where as southern middle eastern countries are overwhelming with a booming economy.

  • lol

  • well it may seem so , but most of the philipos, indians, nepali's don't live as luxuriously as the the others... but it's still like 100 times better for them in qatar than they were in their home countries for sure

  • I'd just like to clarify your statement - it is the labourers from philippines, indian subcontinent, egypt and other african countries for whom the salary is better than in their home country due to the exchange rate... but their life is worse than it is in their home country --- have you ever visited a labour camp.. i havent but i have heard terrible stories about the conditions .. i am sure that their life in the home country is much better than the labour camp

  • That is true, laborers are not exactly treated with the respect they should have(they are building this country, without them none of what's in Doha would be possible)

And by the way i'm from Egypt and i think i'm living here alright alhamdililah and i work at a reputable company, usually the laborers are the uneducated class, which in most arab countries they are treated as 2nd class citezens, sad but true...

  • This looks like an accelerated video. It certainly needs a traffic light though.

  • huevadas intenten manejar en guaranda

  • LOL... god i miss driving in Qatar T_T

driving in the US make me sad

  • Hahahaha ...where is this place in doha?

  • Have you noticed the sign on the right? It is a full stop-sign... :o) I lived in Qatar for six years and lost respect for signs completely!

  • Is that the one by La Cigale?

  • Come on....thats a pretty run of the mill intersection, (Doha Speaking).....no one believes how fucked the driving is out here....its all about the lack of current law.....( trust me theres dozens of accidents daily with at least on fatality a day.

Only Riyahd and Cairo are worse in my experience

  • Not bad.

    Simple, typical STOP intersection.

Problem when traffic backs up from the right and idiots stop IN intersection, blocking cross-traffic.

Some drivers waited and really helped others!

  • damn you gotta have some fast reflexes to drive in that intersection

  • crazy. they are all crazy! and not one single accident? thats unbelievable? are there no rules?

  • there are but.... fines... you just need a qatari friend, hell take care.... the fines will magicaly disapear.

  • Go home rodney, we dont needz people like you here :P

    bewb..

  • 0:43 lmao at the guy driving with one headlight on

  • Not a single accident. Interesting.

  • Wow!I've never seen anything like it! Is the car a new phenomenon in this country? Such nice cars as well. What this intersection needs is a good old British roundabout. That would solve the problem.

Until then? hmm, the words horse and cart spring to mind.

  • this is terrifying. i hate intersections like that, if i lived there I would avoid it at all costs.

  • lol

  • What can we say??

  • Ryan, this rocks!!!
