All this kaleidescope rip off comments need to end, fact is she's a wonderful singer, and manjube is a great group aswell. She didn't steal any similar lyrics or any vocals, it is possible to have the same piano arrangements in two different songs, it's not stealing. Just like John Mayer and U2.

she didn't 'write' kaleidescope machine, someone else did it for her, she didn't know about manjube. you can tell, it's completely different to her other songs like this one that she has actually written. no camparison

For me, her voice is OK, nothing terribly unique or special. I think she totally overuses that going to the high note thing she does on practically every other line. She is obviously young and inexperienced. Needs some seasoning for sure. Good luck to her. I hope she is getting an education!
