  • dude i'd luv if u make an hour long video of all that u know,i mean tricks..thanks i'm glad2learn frm u glad2teach :)

  • What an excellent video! Can't wait to make my way through the series.

  • @FionnMarr, this simple technique ( Rainbow Multiplication ) is deceptively powerful. Once you have mastered it then you can multiply any numbers easily. To see this technique in action watch my Live Seminar video I have uploaded. Click on my name (glad2teach), the name of that video is " Teaching to be Super-Sonic at Math"

  • OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ..and where?

  • When have you known it?

  • omg i like maths now hahhaah

  • THIS HELPS

  • unbelievable

  • How to solve 48*86 by this way correctly

  • @powerful11800 Vedic criss-cross method or "vertically and crosswise" method: the answer is 4128 doing it left-to-right in my head using that method. You can find other videos explaining this method too.

  • 45 * 52

  • It sucks when you have to pay to learn this math.

  • 99x99 ????????????

  • Vowwww....tank u por givin me the opporchunity to larn maths the isy wa....

  • thank u 4 showing these videos becuz it has helped me a lot in maths i thought maths was hard now it is not dat much thank u

  • what about 49x33

  • Comment removed

  • can u post more vids? i wanna be smarter

  • dam i made the time but i did 1231 dam so close

  • Everything works great, i have to disagree with you on the jumping 10's. Instead of using the add first, i'd use the jump first, because that is the first number you'd hear. twenty-Jump two, three, add three, it just seems faster to me. but thanks for the videos! :D

  • what about 44x45

  • @56shahzaib 4x4=16 4x5=20 - 4x4=16 (add first 16= 36) 4x5=20 // 16|36|20 Then 16+3|6+2|0 = 1980 - If you don't get this, then watch the video, it's much easier to learn from the video than from comments..

  • i love you bro

  • @MrPulpo111 4x5=20 :P

  • After you pass a specific threshold, this method will not work.

  • why i cant get the answer 47 x 86 :S

  • لا اله الى الله!

  • So i seem to be able to do it with whatever number you chose, but i cant seem to do it with 45 x 86 :(

  • Comment removed

  • Isn't It? :)

  • @ilikeboobies007 4 x 5 = 25

  • @ilikeboobies007 4x5= 20 ^_^

  • @glad2teach

why are u not making videos anymore?

  • @j0sukHD y dont you shut the fuck up

  • ...Wait, this is the same as how we've all been taught in school. You just APPARENTLY made it easier. You're only skipping the steps of writing the numbers vertically.

  • APU:D!!

    just kidding-just kidding(:

i love all your videos!, you NEVER let me down.-Thank You SOOOO! Much.

YOU sir... have a GIFT!... and skill.

  • wow i dont know that math can be very easy to calculate

  • my own way to multiply 3 digit number with 3 digit number fast, please thumb up for every one to see this:

I will use symbols to make it more clear the two numbers are: xyz and abc

    xyz*abc

    solution:

    first digit= x*a (sooo simple isn't it?:D)

second digit= (x*b)+(y*a) just like the foil method

third digit= (x*c)+(z*a)+(y*b) this one is little tricky :)

    fourth digit= (y*c)+(z*b) foil method

    fifth digit=z*c

of course this will be nothing in front of this genius way but it also solves very fast

  • @Asserish This is the same method as the Vedic vertically and crosswise—a polynomial-time algorithm just "humanised." If you did it on paper, it would just use little paper because you're doing most of the calculation in your head.

There are faster ways of multiplying large numbers but they require a lot of practice.

For example, I've discovered a way to square repdigit numbers of arbitrary lengths in seconds.

  • @Asserish I kinda like that way as well, pretty good technique!

  • Can you please show the best method to solve ANY numbers? 86x94 doesn't seem to work this way.

  • how to purchase this .... vedic maths books .

  • the best maths trick so far ...........

  • I soooo need the full video set but you do not have it for mac operating system. you make it so simple to solve these problems and I really need help with quadratic equations. Could you recommend another way to get your videos.

  • U are amazing person.

  • what can i do with 76*84

i realy want to know how to solver any digit number

not just this kind number like 21 23 44 21...wth?

  • u make me think math is easy..i luv it..TQ..

  • Hi

    Your really are the best!!!

I know all numbers are beautiful...which is your favourite though??

  • Dear abhinayan27, glad that you could benefit from my Math Videos. I cannot even say which is my favourite colour, let alone the numbers ( which are infinite !! ).

    Numbers are indeed beautiful.

  • @glad2teach Why do you have to charge money :( I have no money buy those tricks.

  • @glad2teach Sir you are a hero pls keep uploading more videos!!

  • @glad2teach colours are infinite too!

  • @glad2teach man u need not to describe and tomorrow was my maths paper or december tests so u helped me alot in that

  • Dear rockvsaustinwm26, glad that I could help. Somebody has posted a comment below saying that I have just "Humanised" Mathematics. That's it. Though he said it sarcastically but it is by far the best compliment I have received as a Math teacher.

    Shahryar ( A.k.a Glad2teach )

  • @glad2teach the person has said something perfect

  • @glad2teach im going to tell mrs.davis (my math teacher) thanks!

  • @BobByler Hey Bob, I just checked out your site and videos. And I have to say I'm not satisfied at all, it's like reading from a Math book sorry.

As a child I always hated math, but Mr Shahryar, your videos really helped me. Gotta say its like a life changing experience, never thought I could learn Algebra so easily. Really appreciate it, much love.

  • Dear SupaKaream, learning anything new is always a life changing experience, especially if someone has struggled with it for very long. Glad that my easycal videos series helped you learn Algebra.

    Regards

    Shahryar ( a.k.a glad2teach )

  • You aren't the one talking are you?

  • I can't get 28*28 to work. Can someon tell me why.

  • @Paul78F 28*28

    2*2=4 so 4_

8*8=64 but that's two digit, so we put the number 6 to our left

    464

and 2*8+8*2 = 32 but that's two digit, so we put the number 3 to our left

    4(+3) 6(+2) 4 = 784...

  • @Paul78F So if we have more than one digits, we put the big digits to the left of the normal place...

  • Thank you so very much for your videos!

I can't tell you how much they have helped me. Math was a nightmare to me. Now it's just plain fun.

    Thank you again!

    Take care, Bladen

  • do you live in india or somewhere else?

  • 10x man its magic

  • You videos are AMAZING they have changed my grades sooo much.

the only problem is I can't find a page with all the videos in order, i get lost with all the spam on the Internet .

    PLEASE help me!!!!!

  • u have just uploaded 6 videos what about other 24???

  • hey when are you gonna teach us - how to multiply 3 digit no. with 3 digit no. or how to multiply 5 digit no. with 5 digit no.???? you said u would in this video .... i'm waiting since months !!!

  • Please tell a trick to multiple a 3-digit no. with a 3-digit no. quickly

  • I want you to be my school teacher +.+

mine is an asshole, 90% of my class failed to the exam because he can't teach a shit!

    ly <3

  • THANKS MAN UR AWESOME

  • you are amazing

  • I love you

  • Didn't work with 99x99 :-(

  • I tried it

    -9x9 (first digits) = 81, so thats 81_ _

    -9x9 (last digits) = 81, so thats 81 _ 1

-Do the rainbow mutiplication, and you'll get 162

-Now when you did step 2, you got 81 as a result, so lets say the result would be 8181. When you do the rainbow multiplication, you get 162 as a result. Add 8+2 and you get 10, then you transfer 10 to the next number, and stay only with a 0, so it means you will have 1+1+6=8. Then, do 8+1=9. You get 9801. Basicly its this: 8181

    +162

    ------- 9801

  • i love you.

  • just amazing

  • Thank you very much for sharing.

Helps me a lot, but I'm stuck at 14*85

    8_20

    6+32

    8-38-20

    Answer should be 1190?

  • @jeroeniskoning

Any way the remove a comment, I feel so stupid...

  • wOw ! amazing !. ur such a GENIUS ! mathematic is now easy for me !

  • i dont understand how u would multiply 44x25???

  • Awesome Videos

  • Wish you are my teacher...

  • The Best teacher to teach this Period. God bless stay Smart

  • How did you figure all these things out??? I got your first 30 videos and I am literally blown away. I thought it would be a scam, but it really isn't.

  • It might sound ironic but this might change my life.I am eternally indebted to you.You are a genius

  • @Doct8r, I humbly accept your gratitude and appreciation.

Genius ...... I am as ordinary or as special as we all are.

God has endowed all of us with this wonderful and powerful organ called brain.

We just need to learn how to use it .

  • @glad2teach YOU ARE ALWAYS SO HUMBLE. GOD BLESS YOU.

  • hello to you sir thank you for sharing on how to solve mathematical problems in all sorts into a very unique and faster way.. it helps a lot to my kids in solving thier math problen in school in easier way. i had your videos in easycal series 30 but its all lock with password.. can you share the password with us it will help a lot. you can eamil me: don6799@yahoo.com... tnks for helping others...norms

  • Hey guys he tries to teach us!

Instead of proving him wrong make some use his video

if you have doubt ask him he will solve it but YOU DON'T WATCH VIDEO PROPERLY AND ASK HIM SOME STUPID QUESTIONS.

I like his videos and We get some knowledge out of it

EG:- if you are at a party , suddenly some one asks you what is 31X42 then you wont be able to answer it and get ashamed !!!!!!!!!!!! instead of that learn some thing from these videos

  • i noticed if you wont to be better at math you have to be a in room by yourselfs thats really really quit. but opposite with things like social studies and science, play music quietly in the backround for that, thats so odd thats why i have been better at subjects like that at school because i have noisy sisters. People should be doing science experaments for that stuff.

  • thank you so much for uploading these videos i am finding them so helpful and enjoyable. please can u put more videos on. many thanks keep up the good work !!!!! john

  • thanks man helped me alot i love you man

  • great man more vidoes

  • i tried multiplying 47 * 86 and i got stuck, can anyone help please???? 4 * 8 = 32

    7*6 =42

    4*6=36

    7*8=56

    36 + 56 = 92

so 32 92 42 are my numbers but i cant combine them y?

    help please??!!!!

  • @dcasti22 4*6=24 not 36

    24+56=80

add 80 into 3242 to get the answer 4042

  • I wish I had a teacher like you at highschool! Now everything seems easier, just have to practice to do it quicker! Thanks a lot! :)

  • this is so nice :D

  • hey ...awsm video...proud to knw sm indian is teaching world to calculate...AGAIn after wrld learnt vedic mathematics...go and shine !

  • Yes, great videos. These are great for homeschoolers too.

  • yaaay! im indian too! go smart indians. 8)

  • does this work for all 2 digit numbers?

  • I wish I had a math teacher like you...this really helps...

  • Dear Glad2Teach

your really good at maths where did you learn these methods from ?

  • Wow, thanks for the tip! This is so helpful!

  • Indian people are so smart.

  • ur videos are amazing...how did u even figure out that this works?

  • I tried 23x27 and it is impossible to do...

  • @ntt4rz I

  • @ntt4rz its working too, you have to add, from left to right, the 421, from the fist operations steps, with the second results.

    421+

    14 _+-- 2x7

    _6_= --2x3

    621

  • Guys Instead of trying a way of proving him wrong which wont happen :)

he guys do not understand how much he is trying to teach us this is my fav video's

    1.They always make sense

    2.he shows them!

    3.he goes over the steps

4.he is Indian i love indians there for the win

5.he trys this best and when i pass University and i will be making my speech i would say thanks to Glad2teach a guy on Youtube i passed University!

    6.this video's are never fake

sorry guys i could be going on forever.... with him

  • Dear GTAvideofue , glad to know that I have an ardent fan like you. Wish you all the success in life.

PS: Do record your Convocation Speech and upload it to youtube.

  • if only i was taught like this when i was at school! Excelent teacher thank you :)

  • um sorry but this does not work at the end of my two digit number its a nine so now it is so wrong and now im mad because i can figure out a way to show 76x29 on my paper

  • @Tdog478 it does work

    76x29=

    =14__

    =1454

    =1454+750 (because 70x9 is 630 and 6x20 is 120 which sums to 750)

    = 2204

  • Thank you for posting these helpful videos! I wish they would have taught us this method in school.

  • yessssss I finally mastered how it suppose to be done but mine takes a min cos I lost my multiplication technique

  • thanks

  • what about 3 digit numbers times 2 digit numbers?

  • awesome!!!!! I wish i had discovered this sooner! Oh well, at least i still have a month of math 1314 lol

  • thanks for the informational video. love it

  • great work

  • sick

  • OMG thank you so so much. My teacher was like " Oh, how did you solved that so quickly? How smart." Seriously, thnx : D

  • Thank you so much. I'm not sure I've ever heard of rainbow multiplication. I don't think they taught it, back in the day.

  • cooll..!!!

    thanks a lot..!!!

  • Dear trelos5, why to let so much hatred nurture inside you. As a teacher I can tell you, he who hurls such verbal thunderbolts on others would recoil with the same force. Just like Newton's 3rd law. So when we are good to others we are best to ourselves.

PS: I am not from Pakistan. I am from India. So you may consider posting a more suitable abuse for me.

Warm Regards and Best Wishes -- Glad2teach

  • I apologize for my comment

  • @trelos5 , it takes lots of courage to admit or accept a mistake. Glad that you have it in you.

  • @trelos5 dude no ones perfect remember that =D

  • @trelos5 YOU'RE AWESOME! SO MANY WILL LEARN FROM THIS SMALL GESTURE.

  • @glad2teach hahaha that is an epic response to the guy who insulted you - i love it. Anyways, very very cool vids, thanks for making these, regardless of criticism, most people are well beyond the years where showing the steps for arithmetic is needed - so these quick calculations (once mastered) are invaluable - especially now that you dont need to write out all these long steps of multiplying and dividing all over the sides and corners of your paper

  • @glad2teach "Newton's 3rd law" :) its the Secret for a good life for which we all strive

  • @glad2teach i like it very much, however, these algorithms only work for specific situations.

Is there any way you could get an algorithm which would simplify any multiplication or division in any given situation?

  • great method! my russian uncle taught me a similar method

    68*47

    68*40=2720

    68*7=476

    2720+476=3196

  • All use this simple method. And to multiply 68*40 is more harder than just to multiply 1-9 with 1-9!

  • monster digits XDDD

  • lol...yehey..b4 6 sec. i did it hahaha...

  • lol u all seriously cant multiply 44*54 in 10 secs...!! if u cant then, instead of trying to rmbr d complic8d techniques, practice maths for like 5 minz a day to make ur mind sharper..!!!

  • @varun2416 , 44 * 54 can be easily multiplied in 10 secs by using Rainbow Multiplication trick explained above (or you can even use Base50 as both no. are close to 50 )

You are right in saying that regular practice of Math is indispensable. But no matter how much you practice conventional methods they still would have limitations. It would still take lot of time to execute them (as you have to write down so many steps) That is why knowing these smart tricks is so important for a student .

  • that's also called the FOIL method (Firsts, Outers, Inners, Lasts)

  • it looks similar, but its not the same. foil is used for multiplying binomials, and the answers can b written in any order. this is used for multiplying integers and the answers display exactly where they will appear in the final number, and are not interchangeable.

  • tin FOIL??? hahah jk

  • Another trick I discovered years ago (though I doubt very much I was the first), was if you wanted to multiply say 487x513:

    1. Take the average of the numbers (500)

    2. Square the average (250000)

    3. Find the distance of each number from the average (13)

    4. Square that (169)

    5. Find the difference between the answers in steps 2 and 4 (249831)

    Check 487x513 on a calculator.

  • @manudude02 thats kind a long isnt it?

  • long, maybe. Still cute I think.

  • @manudude02 you know im in the tnth standard and this is a board formula in the 7th

    it's (a+b)(a-b) = a sq. - b sq.'

but it's still quite good if you discpverd it urself

  • ur right. i use that method as well.

  • its just FOIL huh?

  • love love love ur vids! but where is the rest? i cant find the vids with the multiplication with 3 digits (and 4 digits etc)...help!!!!

  • 85x62 doesn't work!!! Help

  • Ya it does, you guys aren't carrying correctly

  • @barfgreenrulz First 2 digits=48, last digit=0 (10)

    Middle one comes from 6x5+8x2+1=47

So the answer is 4800+470+0= 5270

  • @barfgreenrulz it does work

its quite simple really but u have to do adding up a little i got one mistake when i was answering your question and i solved my mistake it does work.

  • how bout 24x25 it doesnt work

  • @thetuberperson for the last number 5*4 = 20 last digit = 0 hold the "2" from the 20 u got earlier. for the centre number will be now: (4*2)+(5*2) + [plus that "2" u got earlier] =8 + 10 + 2 = 20 now u know the 2nd digit is also "0", thus hold the "2" again. for the first number, (2*2) + [plus that "2" u got again] = 4 + 2 = 6 "6" is your first number. thus putting all together your first, middle and last number u get 600. try it again.
  • (2x2=4) So the first digit is 4. [(2x5=10)+(4x2=8)]=18 so you have to add the one to the 4 because you only have one space so your first two digits are 58. Then you multiply (4x5=20) so you carry the two leaving you with 600.

  • what do u mean osccar

  • Fast Algebra

  • you did it wrong you needed to out the 3 on top of the 0 lol

  • hello glad2teach please help me!!!! i brought all ur 26 videos i love itt BUT THE FIRST DONT WORK WHICH IS THIS 1

    i did 51* 27 =

    10_ 7

    10377

BUT THE ANSWRE IS 1377 PLEASE HELP ME HERE

  • Dear SuperBlaze999 , glad that you are loving these 26 techniques of fast Algebra. The EasyCal trick you are trying to use is Rainbow Multiplication. In fact in the 26 Videos you have downloaded I have explained in detail how to apply this technique to multiply bigger numbers as well ( 3 digits or more ) . Do learn it from there.

You have done everything right. Just carry forward (add to the left) the ten's digit (3) of middle term ( 37 ). You will get the answer. Read my comments below

  • @SuperBlaze999 Your suposed to take the 0 away 10_7 you put 7 in the empty spot since and 3 where the 0 is. 1377

  • this is awesome

    :)

    thank you so much

  • hmm... thats seems kinda like foiling
