Dude, I've been dying to go bridge fishing but none of my friends are really into fishing... Damn, I am thinking of heading that way either today or tomorrow.
Go to mile marker 7.. TRUST ME!!.. you'll catch allot of snappers and jacks... Just pull your car over on the side of the road and walk a good 25yrds away from the car...o yea, use silverside & bring pilchures with you also for bait.
im with ya man bridge fishing for sharks and what not is the funnest. and that looks like the channal 2 bridge cause in the background i could see the channel 5 big ass bridge... and that last shot was you goin over the snake creek bridge.
I have used naked line under those bridges with basic squid (under bud and mary's)... it is fun as hell there... lots of sharks though (lemons and nurses)
Alot of the time we do try to unhook but in some cases it is safer to cut lose, Sharks are not are target species, there is just so many you get them.
is there any were you can surf fish in the keys

you need a license to fish from land and boats now and there are size limits on sharks and some are protected

We do use Bridge gaffs on legal fish, it is safer to use the Bridge Net, if you are not sure if it is a keeper fish.
