Hey Hortensie, how do you make the "long rectangles" at 1:03? I keep playing around with Cookie Cutter, but I can't achieve a rectangle of that length.

Another noob question; How do you get the cookie cutters to move? I can't figure it out. *feels stupid*

Use the square option and take the Repeat X slider all the way to the right.

You should see a mini-timeline at the bottom of the Video Event FX window.

Double Click anywhere in the time line to create a new keyframe. Then change the position of the Cookie Cutter using the blue dot thing in the white space. (you can tell i'm using scientific terms)

It's not Chroma Key. Everyone always thinks that. I hardly ever use Chroma Key because it rarely works.

I used the masking tool in Sony Vegas. It takes a hell of alot longer but the outcome is great.

It depends on the clip your using. If it only has one colour in the background Chroma Key might work but if not it will probably leave marks.

No, I didn't use chroma key, it was done with a mask. (in the Pan/Crop window)

To get it in HD you have to change the settings of your video. Click on File and then properties and change the template to HDV 720-30p (1280x720, 29.970 fps).

This is asuming your using Sony Vegas. Otherwise I don't know.
