Great video. Thanks. Thats me in the BMW at the 8:15 point. My first race other than autocrossing! Ugly cobbled together spoiler. By the way the tub racing was called GT as in gravity tubs. They stopped doing it when the race got too big. It went to a three day event in 85. I drove in 84, 85, and 86. (different cars though).
I remember when I was little that they used to have a race down the road at Chimney Rock and the drivers raced go carts with no motors! I can't remember what it was called but it was so fun to watch!
