uhm i have a problem, when i add it in the download folder, the game says: does not respond (crash) and when i put it out the downloadsfolder it works again, is this normal?

i have this with all the animation packs from diffrent websites through, Am i doing something wrong?

i never had problems with hacks/downloads before.

@ZeEBoBO You download the boxes, extract the rar files putting the location "C-My documents-EA games-The Sims 2-Downloads" (although i suggest using one box at a time due to previously reported problems when using them all at once)

@Anenaon i've downloaded 80panda08's telephone animation box and also jixs's animation and they both worked fine. but then i installed some new ones and they didn't work. my game starts loading and then halfway through it gets stuck.

@thesimfanatic I've had that type of problems when a friend of mine sent me his animation box, and i didn't have all the expansion packs, but in this case they are compatible with the base game, i tried them myself, so i really don't know what could possibly be the cause....

Have you tried using one box at a time or all of them at once?

I only have Sims 2 Base Game, Nightlife, Apartment and Pets and it worked perfect for me! There were a couple of glitches but they are awesome! :D A++

i really suggest you make your future anims with base game anims

@alimahadtheman I'm not sure, it's just a propostition in case they don't work, i made them when i had the sims 2 base only, and i made them not to require any more than the base itself :)

@alimahadtheman You need to use each one separately, that way they'll work, i made a mistake by giving them the same name, so you have to use one box per need, when you want to use the other ones, you have to delete the existing one from the downloads folder and put the one you plan to use ;)

when i put them in my Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads i play my game and it pause at "Crash-Proofing Parties" and this has happened with all custom lady gaga animations that i've ever tried to put on my game. I really need these for my Alejandro music vid. Please help Thanx
