how was it poorly organized. if your talking about the semi final between the poms and the saffers. that was with in the rules. it was shit but i was in the rules. the 92 world cup was probably the best out all world cups

Yes, the rules sucked. That semi-final you talk of was really the zenith of badly formed rules. There were many victims of that rule, namely India (vs Aus), Zimbabwe (vs India), and Pakistan (vs S. Africa). I wasn't a big fan of the round-robin system either, though some games were very good. However, 2007 now takes the cake for the worst world cup experience ever. 2003, IMO, was the best world cup.
