i just used the 2 hour express strip, and my teeth didn't hurt at all i left it on for all 2 hours, and i have been using the 30 minute strips for a week before trying to 2 hour strip, i have felt none of this pain that everyone talks about.
The spots go away. I had the same problem. What I recomend is trying the 5 minute strips. Do it once a day instead of twice and they're great. They didn't bother me nearly as much. and If your teeth are over sensitive, use act restoring fluoride rinse. It helps take care of the sensitivity.
after the 2nd day of me using them the pain was just soo uncomfortable and lasted throughout the wholeee dayy !!!
I had a concert to go to that night..and couldnt even sing along because of how much it hurt..talking hurt soo muchh !!!! I do have sensitive teeth..but didnt think that it would have hurt sooo much ! so i advice if you tend to hve sensitivity in ur teeth do not purchase this..because ull most prob be crying over the pain!!!
I have bought them and was only able to use it for ONE day i was in SO MUCH PAIN afterwards I had to take prescribes painkillers for that...I only did it for one day and only for 30 minutes... i wont even express to tell you how much it hurt the first day and on top of that I had so much drooling i was literally foaming at the mouth ..I had to rinse my mouth every 20 minutes and the next day the second day my theeth were still sore i couldnt drink or eat much ( and that second day)
I got these and I don't have sensitive teeth. I used them once for 30 minutes and ... what a mistake that was.
They made my teeth (especially bottom row) soo sensitive and sore afterwards, I wouldn't even dare to try a second day.
I think it's the plain VIVID pack that I've heard all the complaints from, so if you're buying them don't buy that type. Avoid them!! Waste of money, pay that little more for the professional level one.
I have used these 2 times so far. I have the professional pack. My teeth are already sensitive and i will have to do it every other day. but this means the gel is actually working..... how many methods even whiten your teeth? none, exept going to the dentists. so they are deffinately worth it. I see a big difference already after 2 applications.
To have such a sensitive mouth and extraordinarily beautiful face, one wonders the point and wiseness of the tongue barb, but that's a separate issue. For the record, the Vivid product seems to create a lot more of the symptoms than the Professional version, which adheres to the teeth better and produces very little if any sensitivity. I was also unhappy with the Vivid, although I finished the pack, but the Professional version (a little more expensive, of course) worked great. Keep smiling!
OMG. That's Crazy, I just started using them aswell and by day 3. I had that same exact reaction my tounge is all f'd up. It's not worth it! The pain is bad. If you really still wanna do this. Then go for the gentle strips. Trust me..

you can't say that they aren't good. you probably don't have a lot of enamel on your teeth and thats probably a more of a personal reason of why you dont like them
OMG I Bought them The Pro Thow & I DO NOT Have Sensitive Teeth & OMG My Teeth Hurt :( & It's Been My 2nd Day Useing Them But Im A Smoker & My Teeth Are Really Yellow :(
great honest review! :) i totally know how you feel when you were talking about air brushing past your teeth and it hurting, because i once bumped heads with my friend lol, and it knocked a nerve in my tooth and the same thing happened to me, it's so painful!
I am using them as i watch this video (20 day pack at 45$) and now im praying to Baby Jesus that they dont hurt me like they did you. I am actually giggling listening to the pain you went thru because i went through the same pain when i tried Rembrandt pack. But i could only last 20 minutes (TOTAL) with those.
Pray for me? lol
Well done with your video tho. Shoulda watched it before i bought these tho.
1) Buy Crest Whitestrips ADVANCED SEAL. They stick to the teeth really well.
2) If you already knew you have sensitive teeth then 1. Why didn't you buy the whitestrips especially made for sensitive teeth and 2. why didn't you use the ones you bought only every 2nd or 3rd day??
guys it doesn't hurt that bad, its more my gums then my teeth really. this stuff does really work though i'm using the 3d white toothpaste alongside this product.
Blah blah blah...I lost count how many times you told us about your "perfect teeth"!! This was more of a bitch and moan session. Put up with the product or shut your pretty trap. Thank you.
There is a solution to the sensitive teeth problem - use a toothpaste for sensitive teeth 30 mins before the strips, and a sensitive teeth mouthwash after. No more sensitive stabbing sensations.
i completely agree with you, my teeth were hurting like a bitch after i used them i was just dieing in the pain try ing to eat stuff, but now i know it was the whitestrips doing that to me, they did whitn my teeth though, i made a before and after video on it, and i never metion how much it hurt because i didnt think it was whitestrips, thanks o you i know what was causing them to hurt, so i did all 10 days and im happy by the way my teeth look, but when i chew i wanna die, and they do slip alot
i bought the $50 "professional effects" thing that's a two a day 30 minute job, well im on day 4 and they fucked my shit up BAD, no i had good teeth but NO NOT ANYMORE.. give me a minute im going to take a picture (sorry for the messed up smile did it so you can see) labeled it all, the pain was for me actually removal of enamel!
h t t p : / t i n y u r l . c o m /myfuckedteeth <- remove spaces
haha sounds like the exact same thing i went through... did i mention i only had one application and only had them on for 15 minutes? it had me doubled over in pain, and not even the lortab i was taking for my broken ankle took the edge off. it was HORRIBLE!! id rather have both ankles broken than feel that pain ever again!
the spots dosent really fade in a couple of hours but they eventually fade away certain um they slide to much if u have alot of saliba in your teeth befor putting them on and about the dry lips JUST PUT CHAPSTICK come on
i'm glad u wrote this cuase my teeth r soo sensitive already . does the arm and hammer create any sensitivity at all? i think ill try that if it did help whiten ur teeth. it did right/? and thanks for posting this! u might have saved me tons of pain1
There is an acctual spesific sensetive teeth one that might work beter in ur case but for me the crest whitestrips advanced seal is perfectly fine so if u havent try it i strongly suggest you do,i get mine at costco for 20 dollers and it comes with 19 poutches of 30 min, another little box of 5 min and something else so i really recomend them:)
@themetalkills When i used to use these, i used to do 2-3 per day, but my upper teeth are NOT sensitive at all so it didnt bother me. I never used them on my bottom teeth, because they used to always slip around and off my teeth, but i have a retainer on the back of my bottom teeth to keep them in place post braces.

Yeah I can't do the 30 minute ones. Try the sensitivity ones, I think they are 5 min and are for sensitive teeth. But may take longer to see results...
Hmm, I'm currently using the Crest Advanced Seal (the one before they made Crest 3D White) and I haven't felt any sensitivity at all. My teeth are slowly getting whiter and I'm on Day 5. I hear they're making a 'Professional Effects' version that may be even stronger than the one you tried but I'm not sure if I should try it. It should be coming out in a few days actually. Maybe you should get the Crest Gentle strips. I really hope the strips don't ruin my teeth. :S
Today, I went to class in the morning, and it was POURING. When I came out of the cafeteria at 12, it was bright and sunny, no clouds in sight. And then at 1:30 when I got out of class again, it was COMPLETELY cloudy, and rainy again. Sorry. haha. Your snow thing just made me think of that.
I've tried 3 different kinds of those suckers and they all gave me this nasty foaming saliva thing in my mouth.... and spots just like you. So I've given up. Good review!

thanks for the warning! i wasn't sure if i'd ever want to try them but i do really hate that sensitive burny tingly feeling your teeth get when they've been corroded by certain things like candy or lemonade, if you know what i mean haha. i heard that while you're using whitening treatments on your teeth you're supposed to use enamle building toothpaste.
I tried em after I got my teeth cleaned & they didnt bother me too bad. but the strips sliding was HELLA-annoying, but I guess its to be expected cuz the mouth is supposed to stay moist & it would kill you if it didnt
I used the crest advanced seal strips and they worked for me... But I did have some sensitivity even shooting pains in my teeth sometimes! So what I did was use the strips every other day, or every 2 days. They stay on a loooot better then any regular strips which was the only good part. After I use up one box the whitening effect started to fade!!!! Such a rip off.. I also used the aquafresh trays which suck major ass, they made my teeth soooo sensitive!!!!

Lmao I did too! That's when I started noticing it was eating my teeth. Two of my back teeth have little holes on the side. I used to think it was cavities but the dentist told me it was the candy. I haven't ate Lucas since.
I tried one of these crest's products and you are right, you do get the white spots when you use the strips, but they fade away after a while (well at least mine did). Just like you, I too experienced the increased sensitivity in my teeth. Like I couldn't even drink water. LOL I had bought it because of the so many positive reviews on the internet.
The 2 hour express strips are $50 and they do not slide on your teeth at all its like tape, and you dont lap up your own drool.
