This is just one of those movies that gets you thinking. Sure I didn't feel the overwhelming sadness that a lot of people seem to be expressing here, but at the end it just hit home, and well, I guess it's just one of those situations that really gets me. The movie is good but the end is crap. Chiaki comes from a future to watch a painting (lol?) that got burned and there seems to not be many humans left ("I have never seen that many people at one place"). There also seems no time limit on his journey back trough time, so he could have just stay there.
