nice work, but stop looking on the floor! look at your audience, it makes a huge difference in performance quality and overall feeling of the dance. also more continuous movement, its an adage, so let your line go forever! otherwise good job :)

ahhm i would say work on your timing!! the posés at around 0:15 seem like the front foot should be closing on the 2 count, not the 1. or maybe not. and the courru turns at 0:49 should have been stretched out more, or there should have been another turn, so it would fit the music. and turn your feet out on those. but good job!!

@bubbleballet i thought they looked pretty turned out.. not all of us are going to have perfect flat turnout.. i thought this was really well done and pretty - i'm in grade6 just now and this is one of my favourite excercises :)

feet are beautifully pointed!!!!

try working on some turn out exercises at home while watching tv cause it looks like your having trouble with keep keeping them turned out in some parts and practise arm allignment in front of the mirror at home ^_^ good attempt!!!!

you have to be 11 within the year the exam is taken...but yes it is normal.

that is strange that the one girl says she 11 and in grade 7 ...because you have to be 12 to do the grade 6 exam! 11 is normal to be doing int. foundation, that is the min age to do the exam, i have some 9 yr olds working on that grade and some 10 yr olds that will be doing that exam next fall. when it comes to age you are never too old, i know someone who was 27 and did her solo seal!

@suckertan89 hey im the same. im 19 did grade 6 last year and doing intermediate this year, although i just stopped doing exams after pre cause i just wouldnt of passed, i think though that doing it when your older is much more enjoyable. =]

I did grade 6 years back.. Ive finished all my frades now and just recieved my solo seal.. but honestly it isnt bad at all.. the only thing i would say is pay atention to turn out.. little but more dance quality but it was very very neat and tidy, arabesque line was very neat maybe try winging the foot .. over all pretty tidy. I would give it a 7 or 8 out of 10.. Keep it up!

our teacher is wonderful but she kept us back so badly in grade 5 so we're so behind and im reading comments where some people are 14 and i'm 16 and just did this grade.

but you danced the adage really well :) i struggled with this one but i like your graceful ness.

it doesnt matter what age you are im 19 and just did grade 6. [although i wanted to do them for fun after doing majors] but still it doesnt matter what age you are you can be 20 and do primary.

I'm taking the Grade 6 exam March 27. Me and another person r doing it. There wz going 2 b more people but they all dropped out & decided just 2 do Adv. Foundation. But i'm glad there's just only 2 of us. Adage is pretty except it's hard 4 me 2 hear the music. I'm starting 2 practice a lot now so i can feel ready. I'm glad they took out the temps lie bcuz i would get it out w/ this one. But the temps lie r pretty.

everytime you do your arabesque, take note that your body is going way too forward, shud be forward and up, not literally forward.

oh and your side arm was way too back.

I loved doing this exam! Only got distinction because I "presented" all the way through (ie. grinned madly because I was knackered from being made to practise outside), my turnout, feet and extentions were awful back then :P

hi, im 12 and im in grade4. I took my grade 4 exam and intemediate foundation exam, so Im skipping grade 5 and going into grade 6. Im Extremely exited. accept that there will be girl 3 years older than me in it, Im kind of shy.
