what was the point of buying them if you downgrade? and yes i think it will erase, not sure....but if you downgrade, u can get the apps back for free from installer...so theres no difference except that you lose money...

try restoring your ipod in the 1.1.1 firmware. its basically the same as upgrading it. plug your ipod in. hold shift, and look for the 1.1.1 firmware. then try to go to jailbreakme.

strange. you might have to restore your ipod into 1.1.1, but if you have wi-fi and you can go into installer, download services. once you download that, go into it and make sure wi-fi is turned on.

No. I am sorry. It is not the same. You will have to downgrade to 1.1.1 in order to jailbreak 1.1.3.

So you have the 1.1.1 firmware running right? if you do, i think you should just do a whole restore on the 1.1.1 firmware to wipe your ipod clean and jailbreak it from there.

No its not because of vista. it should work on all systems. make sure you have the latest version of itunes. and make sure that you put your ipod into restore mode, by holding power and home until your ipod shuts off.

when you hold power and home and your ipod turns off, try just letting go of both of the buttons, and turn it back on (with your ipod still connected to your computer) by pushing the power button. itunes should still say that it needs to be restored.

okay. So go to the link I gave you. Then you should see a three letters to the right of the megaupload sign. Type those in and there, and click download. there should be a timer thing close to the bottm of the page that it brings you to. Once the timer runs out you should see download. Click that and your download should start in a bit.

Just a quick question because my 1.1.1 firmware didnt show up in the iTunes folder (where i saved it) when i went to restore it (SHIFT-Clicked)

I'm sure the iPod firmware IS downloaded. Try to do a search for it on your computer. Once you find it, drag it to you desktop for easy access.
