It's kind of funny that they buy stuff to "better the culture" even though they don't know how to use the instruments. Our family moved from the Soviet Union to US, and my mom, aunt, sis and every female basically knows how to play piano well, and we weren't rich, so I'm surprised that the rich in Russia are somewhat dumb. I would think in a place like Russia, everyone reads and studies & enjoys high art and music, just as I see from my own family & from other Soviet Union immigrants here in US.
