@radioactivemovies That is Based on rate of Fire, If i hold the trigger down on auto it will last less than if i used Controlled Bursts, or even Semi,,, But i would say 2-3 Hours of general play

@crawfis96 hard to do on the wood one,, need to drill out more of the wood stock,, or use external battery pack,, or use tyhe imitation wood one

@Akododarick well, drilling out the stock aint that much of a big of a deal, pretty easy to do, i found one on softairsektor (.de) and it's 0.5 joule, that's a lil low but damn!! it's the Stg44 damnit! i gotta get it!

@Akododarick In NY you can possess any airsoft gun you like- ebay has shipped multiple airsoft/replica arms to my house without hessitation- i just believe your shop is higher quality- however, there are no retailers in NYC, but in Long Island (part of NY) they have hundreds of retailers, unfourtanatly they do not have this replica in stock- i would love to get this gun- just trying to save up!

yep some russian after the war found the sturmgehwer (stg44) and decided to make it more russian, the stg is the first assault rifle and there would be no ak if it werent for the germans. :)

@xPancakes4lyf Sorry mate that is an old story made up during the cold war. The stg44 has nothing to do with the AK47. The two guns are completely different in their operation. Having said that the SKS is similar in some ways to the stg44 and the two guns may, but only may, have some design influences on each other. If you don’t believe me look up the history. Or be lazy and look at stg44 Mail Call History Channel clip hear on you tube. Or you could contact the IWM in London as they have info.

@xPancakes4lyf You, sir are an ignoramus. The two guns are totally different in how they operate. They look similar, yet they operate differently. FAL also looks a bit similar to G3, yet they are TOTALLY different rifles. Read some books, they rule and make you a little bit smarter.

hey mine got dirt in it from a kid do u know how to clean it out??

@THExKiDxNiNjAX yes,, first remove the upper reciever from the lower and wipe it all down then use your cleaning rod to clean out the barrel, my guess is that there is no dirt in the gear box,, if so then you need to open the gear box and wipe it all down use gun cleaner then use aeg grease on your gears when done then you should be ok

the ak 47 came out in 1949...the stg and ak47 are nohing alike.have you ever seen one field srtriped or looked at one of the 2 in person?also...the ak47 was the official rifle of the russian military around 1954...this doesnt look like the real steal either...its blueing isnt as dark.BTW...the stg-44 safty on this is nothing like the stg-44s...

I recommend you look up MKb(42H) it would be the Prototype German Assault rifle that the Russians Captured and by 1943 Russia decided to make a rifle of thier own to match the M1 Garand and Mkb42 later known as the AK1 or AK46

@mrantihippie the stg 44 was the gun that inspired Michael Kalachnicov (i think that's the russian general's complete name) to produce the ak for the russian army. this weapon ws deployed in 1947 - that's why it was the AK 47... the stg 44 or mp 44 as you would like, was introduced too much late to save germany in ww2 but it proved to be a hell of effective as evey german soldier on the front line would ask to trade his mp 40 for the 44...

@mrantihippie Agreed with your information. The MP-44 or Stg-44 was created in the early 1940's and people seem to believe that this weapon was Kalishnikov's inspiration to the AK-47, and there is no truth in that statement at all. Most need to remember that the SKS also came out before the AK and was utilized first. And the SKS and the MP 44 are not alike at all either. The inner mechanisms of the AK and MP44 are completely different, so agreed, and good for you for pointing it out

I just got this gun and u do not have to put tape around the butt stock all u got to do is take the pin out and there are two screw the at the end of the wood stock. You just tighten the screws in place. Justs look in side the butt stock and u will see two screws.

@MBO5king Oh the wood stock was not loose from the metal that is screwed to the wood, that part was very secure, i am saying that the metal on the but stock was slightly larger that the reciever so there is some play, might not be with all but the one i reviewed had some play.

Good review, I just have one question:

Does the gun come with more than one flash hider? I've seen a few videos which mentioned it came with the bright orange one (that comes installed), and a black one which can be screwed on in it's place.
