  • Hi, you can tone your butt to help keep it firm and shapely with spot exercises like squats and leg lifts and you can do ab exercises to tone your abs. As long as you don't cut calories, you won't lose weight and you can keep your figure the same and just enhance it with toning and resistance exercises.

  • Hi, if you decide to lose weight, the weight will be lost all over your body. You really cannot exclude certain spots. You can help to tone and shape your butt with resistance type exercises. Please see my videos on toning your butt for some ideas.

  • Hi, yes, this will help you tone and shape your thighs. Toning them will help to reduce their size, but you also need cardio exercise if you have excess fat. Spend at least 30 minutes 4-5 times a week doing something that gets your heart rate up like running, jogging, cycling, or my 10-minute cardio workout. That will help you burn excess calories and fat to help slim down your legs.

  • when you do this workout, do you have to walk around for it? Or can you just do it in place cause i dont have much space in my room to walk around...

I have been been going to the gym 6-7 times a week, 1 hour a day for about 3 months now getting into shape but I couldn't get rid of the lower ab "pudge" not matter what I tried.   • Hi, exercise is so good for you and it keeps you healthy and strong. To lose excess fat, I recommend you do cardio exercise 3-4 times a week for at least 30 minutes. You can do anything you like as long as it gets you moving and sweating and your heart rate elevated. Things like running, jogging, walking briskly, cycling, aerobics classes, cardio machines at the gym, jumping rope. Also, I have a great 10-cardio workout video that you should try. You will definitely burn calories.

    I have a good body shape but the back of my thighs are big and I want to tone it down quickly, but I'm not sure what to do. And I am thirteen. I just feel uncomfortable with my thighs. Please reply as soon as possible! I'll be waiting ;)

  • Hi, exercise is the best way to tone your legs down. Use a combination of both aerobic/cardio exercise, such as jogging, walking, etc. and resistance exercises like leg lifts. Please see my leg exercises videos. I have quite a few uploaded that I think you will find very helpful. I just uploaded a great calorie burning exercise that will help slim down your legs.Try to fit in at least 45 minutes of exercise 3-4 times a week; 30 minutes of cardio and 15 minutes for your leg exercises.

  • Hi, try lunges. They are great for the butt. I have a video up on how to do them. You can do them as I do with weights, or if that's too much for you to start, do them without weights first and then work up to using weights.

  • Hi, the best way to lose weight all over your body is by doing cardio exercise. Things like jogging, bicycling, swimming, aerobics classes; anything that gets your heart pumping will help you burn calories and shed excess weight. You will want to do toning exercises too at some point because that will help build muscle and increase your metabolism even when you're at rest. Try to do cardio exercise at least 3-4 times a week for at least 30-40 minutes.

  • Hi, you should try to exercise at least three times a week for at least an hour total. 30 minutes of cardio and 30 minutes of resistance exercises including stretching and sit ups. You won't lose weight if you maintain a consistent healthy diet and don't cut your calories.

  • Hi, I exercise three times a week for about 2 hours; that includes stretching as well. Then twice a week I walk for an hour. And 1-2 times a week I go running. I pretty much do something every day. I have my high intensity days and my low intensity days. I also clean my house and garden - don't forget that counts too :o)

  • Hi, toning and exercising your butt will help to make it firmer ,tighter, and more shapely. If you couple that with a diet plan where you are trying to lose weight, it will get smaller as well.

  • hi there, I really love watching your excercise videos, they really do get me motivated. However my problem is i never know where to start in terms of a full excercie routine that incorporates all the tips that you have given in your videos. I really want to work on toning my butt, my somach and my arms. I dont really have any eight to lose, but could do with tightening things up a little :) Any advice on what my excercise routine should be?

  • Hi, I'm so glad you are finding my videos helpful. I recommend that you workout at least 3-4 days a week. Do 30 minutes of cardio like running, walking, jogging, cycling, exercises, classes, etc. Following it up with 30 minutes of strengthening and toning exercises on the following areas. Spend about 10 doing push ups and arms exercises with dumbbells, 10 minutes on toning your butt and legs with a variation of floor and lunging exercises and 8 minutes doing your ab routine. Then stretch.

  • Hi, it sounds like your body is pear shaped. You would definitely benefit from regular cardio exercise and strength training to help burn excess fat.

    Firstly thank you kindly for all the videos they really do seem very simple and easy to follow,. I really want to start working out again, but often feel like my energy is very low. I often have to run out of the house to go to work during the week, and feel to tired to work out when I get back home at the end of the day. How do you stay motivated at those times? Thank you again {:-)

  • HI, it can be hard after a long day to motivate yourself to exercise and there will certainly be days where you just have to go home and rest, but those days will be less frequent once you start exercising. Exercise rejuvenates the body making it more efficient in everything it does from digestion to thinking. Once you start a regular exercise program, you will find that you actually have even more energy, a much better appetite for healthy foods and less cravings for junk food.

  • What works for me is that I set certain days as my gym/workout days where I do my highest intensity workout and I stick to those days no matter what, unless I'm sick or my kids need me for something. On the days I'm not in the mood to do it, I go anyway because it's my day. Once I'm there and I begin, before you know it the endorfins in your brain take over and you are alert and enjoying it. So plan your days and just go. Do what you can, but do at least 30 minutes of cardio.

  • Follow it up with ab work and some strength training and you're done. By the time your 30 minutes is up, you should have enough feel good energy to complete a bit more of your routine to build some strength. The same way you have to go to work everyday, you need to make exercise the same important commitment. Add things to your life to help keep you motivated, like watching motivating videos, buy a new exercise outfit or sneakers, reward yourself with something if you stick to your goal. 

  • Hi, I just started to watch your videos about 3 weeks ago, and i already lost about 5 and a half pounds. Unfourtunately, I have a pear shaped body and my thighs,hips,and midsection are in need of workout!

    to make matters worse,my mother is getting married in about 2 months and need to lose weight pronto!!!Not to mention that IM the maid of honor!! So I have to look smashing in a sleek dress..

    If you could please suggest workouts that will help me,, I would do them no matter the pain!

  • Hi, congratulations on losing five pounds!! That's terrific and you are well on your way. I really don't like crash dieting, but would rather you make a lifestyle change now and stick with it forever. The weight will come off and your body will transform, but it does take time depending on how much excess weight you have. In two months, you can safely lose about 12 to 15 pounds. You didn't mention how much weight you need to lose.

  • To make that happen, do cardio exercise for at least 30 minutes or more at least 4 times per week. Jogging is great, as is cycling, exercise classes, swimming, jump roping, anything that gets your heart pumping for a sustained period of time. You'll also want to begin toning and strengthening exercises to help contour and firm up your body. You can use weights for resistance. I have many videos on ab workouts as well as strengthening exercises, please take a look when you have time.

  • Hi, your heavy arms are caused by excess fat and lack of muscle tone. You can definitely fix that with exercise. You will need to do cardio exercise like running, walking, cycling, swimming etc. to help burn calories and resistance exercises like push ups and lifting weights to tone and strengthen your upper arms. When you have time, please check out my toning your arms video with weights. You can even do these exercises at home with dumbbells. I also have a push ups video.

  • Hi, thanks for your terrific feedback! As you get into better shape, your body will look to be challenged more, so you may want to consider upping your cardio level. You can either extend the time you are doing your cycling, or you can add some other exercises, like walking, jogging, swimming, aerobics classes, etc. This will keep your body revved and help you avoid plateaus. That is the best way to lose lower body weight. For toning your lower body, resistance training is the way to go.

  • You can do weight lifting at the gym using Cybex or similar machines, or you can do the home routines I show in my videos. Please take a look at my other leg exercise videos include the lunges video which is awesome for quads and glutes.

  • Hi, that's up to you. You can do it as a warm up or during your cardio routine where you work it in in between other exercises. I think five minutes is great!

  • Hi, I have a lot of videos up that target those areas. I would recommend 30 minutes of cardio, start small if you have never worked out before. Perhaps start out with a 20 minute walk 3-4 times a week and work your way up. I also recommend pushup for upper body strength and toning. 8-10 minutes of ab work 3-4 times a week. You can put together a nice routine from some of the videos I have on abs. Take a look at my leg exercises videos for tips on butt and legs. 8-10 minutes.

  • Hi, these butt workouts tone and strengthen your butt muscles which help shape, lift and tone your butt. They make your butt look and feel tighter and make it more shapely. As far as reducing size, you would need to lose excess weight to reduce the size of your butt and that is done with cardio excess. To make your butt bigger, you would need to gain weight.

  • Hi, if you want to lose excess weight as well as feel better and healthier, I recommend that you eat several small meals throughout the day to keep your metabolism revved and that you eat foods from all of the major food groups. Please check out my video on portion control. I think you will find it helpful. You want high fiber carbs, lots of veggies, fruits and lean proteins (meat, chicken, fish, beans, etc.) lowfat dairy and exercise. Never skip breakfast!

  • Hi, people store excess weight either in the butt and legs or in the mid section. You are a person who stores excess weight in her midsection. The only way to lose excess weight is by watching your diet and doing cardio exercise to burn excess calories. Unfortunately, when you lose weight, you lose it everywhere, however, with weight and resistance training you can sculpt your body and actually change the appearance of it. It takes time and commitment, but you can do it :o)

  • Hi, you'll need to do cardio exercise, like jogging and walking, etc. to burn excess fat which will help slim down your butt. Then you'll need to do toning exercises like the one in this video and I have other up for you to take a look at as well. Stay consistent and exercise at least 3-4 times per week. You can add more time if you are inclined and have the time for quicker results.

  • Hi, usually a person whose butt is flatter rather than rounder is genetically predisposed to that shape. Unfortunately, even if you gain wait your butt may not get rounder, but it could get wider. The best thing to do to optimize your shape and help it be the roundest it can, is to do exercises that firm and tone your glutes, or butt muscles. Things like lunges, squats, many of the leg exercises also work that area, and of course running and biking, etc.

  • Hi, don't fret because you can get your breasts back to normal, but it does take a little time. What helped me most was weight lifting. I also lost my pregnancy weight slowly which actually gave my body time to retract the skin. Once I stopped breastfeeding it took about another 9 months for my breast to look the way they used to. The same was true after my second. Don't worry i don't find this embarrassing at all; it's just life :o) Please feel free to stop by and ask anytime.

  • Hi, I like to do about 3 minutes of these, but it depends on what else you are doing. If this is part of your 30 minute exercise routine, you can do 50-100 of them depending on how in shape your are.

  • That really depends on how long you want to exercise. You can do it for 5-10 minutes to warm up for more intense aerobics or you can do it while you are out walking and jogging. It very versatile and works a lot of muscle groups including your heart!

  • Hi, it took me about one year to lose all of the weight because I was breastfeeding. I think what helped me most was walking and jogging.

  • 1. Sure, you can do them in the evening if that works, just not right before bed.

    2. Hi, ab workouts will tone and strengthen your abdominal muscles, giving that rock hard flat abdomen, but the only way to eliminate fat and jiggle is with cardio exercise to burn calories and lose inches.

  • Sure, it will get your heart rate up. You can add some jumping jacks in between too.

  • Hi, really the only way to lose breast size is by losing weight if you have excess weight to lose. If you do not have excess weight to lose then exercising your pectoral muscles in your chest will help to firm and lift the breast giving them a nicer appearance. You can do this with lifting weights.

  • Hi, I love cardio, so it's all fun to me. My favorite thing is running. I just love being outside and hitting my feet to the ground. It's very freeing for me.

  • Hi, yes it works on that area. Remember to lose body fat, you also have to practice healthy portion controlled eating and do cardio workouts that really get your heart pumping. This is a great exercise to work into a cardio routine.

  • Hi, you see and feel results right away. You should  feel results the next day and I would say within one week you can start to see results, but seeing results also means doing cardio and watching your diet.!

  • Hi, you have a pear shaped body and tend to deposit your weight on your lower body. This is actually better than having an apple shape body where you store your fat in your mid section. You need to re-proportion your body. You can do this with weight loss and weight training. Practice portion control and eat a well balanced diet. You also need to do cardio exercise to burn calories and help you slim down.

  • The weight training will help build up and strengthen your upper body. In time your proportion will change. To reduce your butt, you'll need to do cardio and toning exercising. A great one is lunges. I have a video up on that. Please take a look when you have time. Hope that helps :o)

  • Hi, this exercise will definitely help tighten and tone your thighs and gluteus maximus muscle (butt). By building your thigh muscle, you will be added size, but you will be decreasing flabby skin which is what you want. Toning, strengthening, and building muscle in your legs and thighs will not only help you look better in shorts and skirts, but it is healthier for your body to eliminate excess fat.

  • Hi, you just need some toning up. A consistent sit ups routine would be great for you. Every other day work out your abdominal for about 5-10 minutes. If you have excess fat you need to lose, try cutting back on sweets and junk food. Saving those extra calories may be all you need if you just have a little bit of fat to lose.

  • Hi, you won't flatten your butt; you will tone it up and keep it from sagging. These exercises do help lift your butt.

  • Hi, I suggest doing this for at least 5 minutes or do it as part of an interval training combined with walking or other exercises. I do have any inner thigh exercise video upcoming!

  • Hey, this looks like a really great way to tone up & lose weight.. but how long (time), or how many repititions should you do, any how many days per week would you recommend?

    Even if I don't hear back from you, I'll wing it and try it anyway... this just looks like such a great excercise, esp. for me. I have back probs and knee & ankle probs, so high impact excercises are more than I can handle, lol. Thanks for a great tip, glad I found your video!

  • Hi, I'm so glad you found me too! I'm really glad you like my video. I always recommend exercising every other day to give the body a day of rest in between. That being said, on the rest days, you can still do low impact things such as walking, and if you want to add this to your walking, I think it's a great way to burn extra calories. I would say do 25 to 50 of them as an interval, then resume regular walking. Do this interval-type training for at least 20 minutes.

  • If you prefer doing this in a small area and not with walking, I would do at least 50. Then do some of your other exercises and do 50 again. Develop a routine for yourself that you like.
