Plus, if you're like me (and I'm sure a fair number of others) the 3ds causes tremendous eyestrain, fatigue, and occasional nausea, reducing the incentive still further. I'm not saying they're isn't plenty to like; but this issue comes down to a matter of perspective. Most all the features being offered in Oot 3ds are old news to long time Zelda fans.

Perhaps if I wasn't being asked to invest 250 dollars, this package would seem more reasonable.

@kokochan39 That's exactly my point. I already own a DSi plus the Nintendo64, gamecube and virtual console releases of Ocarina. To expend an additionally 300 dollars when all is said and done for marginally improved graphics, zero expansions, and identical music is ludicrous.

Honestly, as a Nintendo fan, I'm saddened to see this kind of obvious fan exploitation and I must admit that an evil grin crossed my face when I saw the diminished second week sales for the 3DS.

For god's sake, they could at least pretend to do something to earn the 300 dollar price tag on this experience. Give me a graphical overhaul worthy of the 3DS processing power. Give me an orchestrated soundtrack. And maybe, just maybe, try something creative for a change like an unlock-able second quest where you get to see Zelda/Sheik's side of the story.

Nintendo is making the decision to drop my support for their products extremely simple. Thanks for saving me the 300 bucks, big N.

It's great that a new generation gets to experience a true classic, but for those of us who have been around the block, this new vision offers little.
