Incredible album. Wish I could hear it all. Three great drummers, two great bass players, two great trumpeters, in addition to Julian Priester and with Wynton Kelly!! What the heck was Jordan trying to do? Create one of the best jazz albums of all time? Sounds to me like he did just that. Thanks a mil for sharing it!!
How incredible is Clifford Jordan? I have so much to learn--but check out his work with Max Roach ('It's Time', "Percussion, Bittersweet', 'Straight Ahead'...which does remind of the brilliance, too, of Abbey Lincoln, may she rest well...).
