I'm handicapped, I was born missing my leg, When wearing my prosthetic I walk with a bad limp but I can't help it, I was made fun of my entire life and throughout school not a day went by that jokes and wisecracks and laughter and sometimes bullying were directed at me. Honestly I think the whole thing was a huge misunderstanding. I personally am hard of hearing and understand how frustrating it is when trying to communicate with others. It is understandable that Luke is frustrated. He can only communicate fluidly with his mother. I know what she meant by it. That there is prejudice and others may treat you differently, regardless if it's right or not.

Honestly I think the whole thing was a huge misunderstanding. I personally am hard of hearing and understand how frustrating it is when trying to communicate with others. It is understandable that Luke is frustrated. He can only communicate fluidly with his mother. So when the argument happened he communicated his frustration and anger and all of his other feelings by being expressive. This is not a tantrum this is him expressing himself.

I don't think that what Luke did at the cluebox(es) was at all bad...for the first one, I would hit the person behind me, too, if they were trying to reach over me to grab the clue...for the second one, it didn't look like he hit into Jen intentionally. I'm all for disabled people proving themselves on TAR (Hey, I was fine with Caite), but I don't think that Luke and Margie were the right team for it. She says that deaf people should be treated like normal human beings and can do as much as other people can, then flip out at others when they do treat them normally.
