I always wondered what "I'm So Glad" meant; it was written by bluesman Skip James in 1930. One day it finally hit me: it's about the slaves being freed! it all makes sense: "Tired of weeping, tired of moaning, tired of groaning for you;" and "Don't know what to do" refers to the confusion of suddenly being a free man after years of depending on the white master for lodging, food, etc. It must have been real scary, in a way, to be suddenly free, especially back then. Starting completely over....

This is the definitive version of a great Cream Classic. Cream were and remain to this day unbeatable raw talent. Hendrix had it with Electric church, but for sheer unstoppable blues power, I'm so glad has it by the spoonful!
